these strips are pore-fect

Advantages: get rid of blackheads, cheaper than the competition
Disadvantages: they smell a bit weird

...noticed that they also stocked T-Zone packs for £3.75 including a box of 6 strips and a bottle of their foaming gel wash, which retails at £1.99, so I decided to buy that and save myself £1.25! ~Packaging~ The strips come in a box very similar to the one pictured but with a slightly different layout. Review of T-Zone Nose Pore Strips

Go buy Biore pore perfect strips!!!

Advantages: It leaves your skin smooth and you can really tell the difference
Disadvantages: It makes my eyes water and its a little pricey.

I LOVE THIS STUFF!! I use this about once a week and it works really well. You wet your nose and put it on for 10 minutes. The good thing about it is you can feel it working like after a while it hardens and then you know its getting rid of the dirt and oil. It tingles too and when you take it off your skin is so smooth. The only bad thing about it is it hurts like on a scale from 1-10 its about a 7. (compared to some of the other products i have ...
...and it make my eyes water but i think its worth it because it really gets the job done!! Also if you compare your nose to the rest of your face its alot softer. OH and after you use it for a little bit your nose might be a light red (if your skin is sensitive like mine) ...

Blackheads a No No

Advantages: Works to a degree
Disadvantages: Can make the skin dry

We all hate blackheads, don’t we? I get some at the side of the nose and my chin tends to sport some also. However, when my niece, aged 15, comes to stay, I notice she has some really large ones on the side of the nose, other wise her skin is very clear. One day I went into a Pound shop in town and found ‘Pond Cleansing Nose Strips’ for £1! I have noticed that they are upwards of £3.99 in Boots and other chemists so grabbed a couple ...

Review of Ponds Cleansing Nose Strips

Another disappointment.

Advantages: Does draw out minor impurities.
Disadvantages: Doesn't really work on blackheads, harsh on the skin.

...hence the sceptism) However, Biore have been working on their packaging and are slowing releasing the ones with the new packaging, and hence, the old packaged ones are on special promotion for £4.99 ! Still a bit pricey, I think, but if they really work, I suppose they would be worth the £7.99 in the long run. And so I bought them... ...about 10 minutes, but I left mine on for about 20 (to make up for the really stubborn blackheads...). But no, unfortunately, it just wasn't as effective as I had hoped. When I pulled the strip away, you could see some of the 'gunk' that it had drawn out but these were more from the less problematic areas - most of my blackheads were still there.... I put this down to my blackheads being really stubborn, so of course, I gave it more tries a few ...
