Veins Remained
Review of Skin Doctors Vein Away Plus by
Clare13Moons
Advantages: Non invasive, relatively inexpensive, can be successful for some people
Disadvantages: Time consuming & treatment is lengthy and ongoing
...and found this product by Skin Doctors. The reviews seemed quite good so I thought that I would give it a whirl. You really do have to perservere with this product every day to get any result at all. The product needs to be applied to warmly moistened skin, and so is best applied after a bath or shower. The cream itself has a nice moist consistency and massages well into the skin leaving little residue. There is no sensation after application as ... ...below the surface of the skin are meant to fade away and disappear.
I followed this practice for four months, but had very little improvement in the visual improvement of the veins themselves. For me, the product did not perform. Some people do experience better results from the cream, but many people choose to resort to treatments such as laser and sclerotherapy which can provide much faster results. ...

Youthful radiance in just one-step
Review of Clarins Beauty Flash Balm by
littlegemcat
Advantages: Fast, simple and easy to use with instant results and benefits
Disadvantages: none
...just one step. Like all Clarins products, Beauty Flash Balm exceeds expectations. Just a pearl-sized amount will remedy a grey, dull complexion and leave you looking like you have just stepped out of a salon. Late nights, lack of sleep, stressed out? This miraculous little product will make your skin look perky even if you don't feel that way! I have found that it is safe to use with other moisturisers and products (not just Clarins) and if you have ...

Skin Doctor's Gamma Hydroxy Forte
Review of Skin Doctors Gamma Hydroxy Skin Resurfacing Cream by
MiriamOz
Advantages: It really does what it claims!
Disadvantages: It's a bit pricey
...am 34 with rather oily skin and the occasional breakout.
According to what I read on the net, this cream was originally designed to treat acne scarring, but it proved to also reduce fine lines and improve skintone.
In short: I love this cream.
My skin has gotten very smooth and I rarely have breakouts anymore. My sunspots have nearly gone too.
I do find that if I do not use the cream for a few days my skin returns to it's old state, so beware, ... ...and leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft. I use it at night, as it tends to make my oily skin a bit shiny.
The smell is quite unique. I like it, it's rather herbal. My husband (who loves the smell) says it reminds him of pipe tobacco. Okaaay.
The cream also comes in Forte. It's recommended that you use the original cream for a few months before switching to the Forte, but I started using the Forte straight away. I have noticed no side effects, ...

Decleor Prolagene Gel
Review of Decleor Prolagene Gel by
Laura75
Advantages: Brilliant scar reducer and skin tightener
Disadvantages: None
Prolagene gel is a godsend for anyone with scars or stretchmarks. I used it after I finished treatment for adult acne and although it is not an overnight miracle it did fade the scars completely after 3 months use. I used it under my moisturiser twice a day like a serum and it did the trick. Very good moisturiser for men too as it is light and non sticky.
I also used it as a bust firming serum and had great results. All in all this is a great multi ... ...like it on the market either and it's great value for facial use since the tube is 150ml. If in doubt go for it you will find a use for it! Also great for people who have slack skin after weight loss...
£30 for 150ml usually but www.lapreya.com have the 50ml size for £14. ...

A Balmy Eyed Beauty
Review of Clarins Eye Contour Balm by
icatsai
Advantages: Very hydrating, long lasting and non-animal tested
Disadvantages: A little costly
...by saying that I love Clarins and their products. That's not to say that I like or buy everything they sell but the products I do buy, I have found to be perfect for me, my beliefs and my lifestyle.
* * * The Company * * *
Clarins gets massive kudos from me for two simple facts; they do not engage in animal testing nor do they use animal ingredients. The average person has absolutely no clue what ingredients are in their food never mind their toiletries ... ...of animals in experiments, the Clarins range is for you.
* * * The Product * * *
This particular product, Eye Contour Balm, is aimed at improving the skin quality and hydration around the eye area by softening the appearance of fine lines.
I don't have any lines (yet) but I used to suffer from dermatitus around my eyes, since I started using the balm on an almost daily basis, it has disappeared. I originally received the product as a trial sample ...
