Chanel Hydramax Cream a miracle for dry/sensitive skin

Advantages: Perfect for troubled skin and a luxurious treat
Disadvantages: May be too heavy for oily skins - therefor go for hydramax gel

I have been using Chanel Hydramax Cream for 6 years because it really is the only cream i have ever got on with. My skin is dry and sensitive and this is just so so soothing and comforting, the texture is thick and creamy, you can apply a very small amount which sinks in quickly but more often i use a large blob which makes for a nice buttery massage after which it will take around 5 minutes to sink in completely. Cheap or Chic?

Advantages: Sleek packaging and an unmistakable feeling of luxury and indulgence experienced when using Chanel products
Disadvantages: Slightly expensive for the results produced

Whilst the product did indeed reduce shine, and didn't provoke any of the sensitivity my skin is often prone to, it did no more than could have been provided by a less expensive version. Ultra Waste of Money!

Advantages: moderate moisturizing, UV blocker
Disadvantages: very expensive, doesn't deliver the goods - no noticeable change in skin

Well, I purchased the entire Chanel "Ultra Correction" line, including the serum, night cream, eye cream and this day lotion. I am not impressed. The lotion goes on smoothly and it doesn't have a scent. However, it also doesn't seem to do anything! I didn't notice any change in the texture of my skin, nor in the firmness, nor in the reduction of dark spots - all things that the product is advertised to combat.
