Advantages: Skin smoothening, moisturising, good value for money Disadvantages: No SPF factor included. You need to shop around to get the best price.
...when i was having regular Dermalogica facials. It always absorbs into my skin really easily, without giving a greasy residue on the surface. It moisturises my skin adequately all day until i cleanse and moisturise with a night cream before bedtime.
In my opinion this cream is brilliant for those who might want or need a little extra help in smoothening out the texture of your facial skin and aid any exfoliation processes you might be putting your ...
Advantages: lovely smell, verry hyrdating and lightweight Disadvantages: have to use with other dermalogica products not so good on its own
dermalogica active moist is recommended for skin prone to oiliness and is a lightweight lotion which provides daily moisture protection to combat surface dehydration. It contains silk amino acids, and natural botanicals of lemon, cucumber and burdock with no artificial colour or fragrance. It comes in a slim white tube - i do hate pot moisturisers they seem so unhygienic so this was great in that respect and it really lasts for ages despite the steep ... ...your skin mapped by a dermalogica professional before purchasing to avoid all that trial and error when you start using a new regime. I would say this moisturiser is lovely, light and easily absorbed when used with a full regime of dermalogica cleansers and toners and scrubs. When I first bought this i used it along side my old cleansers and found it left my skin feeling a little sticky (eww) and shiny. However once I started using it after special ...
Advantages: medium wieght moisturiser, hydrating Disadvantages: pricey
Dermalogica is one of the best skincare ranges around today, in almost all salons I have been to they either use dermalogica products professionally themselves and/or reccomend it for people prone to sensative skin as well as dry or oily/acneic skin conditions. I first discovered this professional range when I was going through a period of ver bad acne but found almost everything hurt my sensative skin too much to use in the long run. It literally ... ...find they used and reccomended dermalogica products too. I left the salon feeling amazing after my facial and was given a small sample pot of the moisturiser to use by the facialist. Other products she used on my face were, aveda's botanic kinetics cream cleanser, aveda botanic kinetics firming toner, dermalogica daily microfoliant (i HAVE to buy this soon) and dermalogica intensive moisture balance. If you can afford it I would reccomend all these ...
Advantages: Excellent quality, really hydrates skin and leaves it smoother and plumper Disadvantages: Need to buy from internet or salon - difficult to find on the high street
...As with all Dermalogica products the packaging is plain white with grey text and a grey lid. The masque comes in a squeey tube, which stands on the lid which makes it very easy to get the product out in a controlled way without wasting any. The masque is a thick clear gel and has a basic 'clean' smell, but doesn't smell sweet or soapy - I think this is due to all the natural ingredients. It is a nice smell though. On the back of the tube it says ... ...it contains rosemary, hops, cucumber, arnica and vitamins A,B5, C and E. Use
You apply the masque after cleansing (and ideally after exfoliation). It feels very cool and calming when you put it on. It is very gentle so you can put it on the eye area as well (the packaging confirms this). You apply a thin layer to the whole of the face and neck area and then leave it for 10-15 minutes. What seems to happen is it sinks in and almost dries on your ...
...buy this from any local dermalogica stockist (hair and beauty salons) or purchase online. £30 is about average for this product, but you can get it cheaper. At the age of 26 I suddenly developed acne. It felt and look pretty bad so I decided, being a fan of Dermalogica products, that I would try the special clearing booster.
The packaging is white and grey which are the usual colours used for Dermalogica- it is easily identifiable as being manufactured ... ...skin thoroughly (Dermalogica products are recommended- but at around £30 for a bottle of cleanser- they would be, wouldn't they?!). It comes in a small bottle (30ml) but a little goes a long way!
The directions do not make it clear whether this should be applied over moisturiser or vice versa- in my experience, it is best to apply this to skin straight after cleansing and if you wish to moisturise, apply this after the product has dried thoroughly.
