Advantages: Leaves skin feeling silky

...part of a promotion for estee lauder and thought it would be good for me because I have very dry skin. The packaging as always for estee lauder is very nice and another benefit is that even though the jar looks as though is is made from glass it isnt, so therefore it is very light which is good for travelling ( its a kind of plastic). ...really fast and does leave it very silky soft, however I had to apply it about three times until I felt it had moisturised me properly. Anyhow I thought I would give it a good try and whilst it has lasted quite a while (considering I have to apply it that many times) I wouldnt buy it again. Seeing as I don't have any wrinkles after a bit of research I decided that Idealist would be better for my skin as it focuses on fine lines as opposed to deepened wrinkles and mainly helps with pores and overall quality of the skin. Simple hydrating light moisturiser - it is exactly that. Moisturises beautifully without being greasy or heavy - excellent for slightly oily skin as it doesn't add to the problem. This also makes it a really good base for applying makeup as it leaves the skin smooth and soft with no greasy residue so the makeup doesn't just come straight off which it can with some moisturisers. ...used to something scented but that's not what I want from a moisturiser. At around £3 for a bottle this is definitely worth buying. You get a lot in a bottle so it lasts for a very long time. My skin is dry in places and greasy in places and I find this moisturiser works really well on either and I don't feel like it's at all harsh on my skin. When i was sent a sample of this i was initially impressed so i decided to buy a tub when i saw it on offer at my local supermarket. The smell is really pleasant but i found that if i put too much on it made my face appear a little greasy and shiny. I did notice that my skin appeared plumper around the edge of my eyes when i first put it on but i haven't noticed any lasting effect on my lines but i have only been using it for about 3 weeks.
