Advantages: works quickly, and lasts for a very long time! Disadvantages: price, can dry your skin out unless you use a moistureser!
...When I came across the Murad Clear Skin starter box in Boots, I at first thought it was too expensive. But with the money back guarantee they were offering I thought I might as well give it a ago.
The exfoliating treatment should really be used as part of a three step treatement for best results, but boy does it give results! I was a bit weary at first as it says you may go through a purging process, however that did not happen to me. I have been ... ...evening. You could use the Murad one, however I find that any oil free moisturiser will do. Then I apply - as needed - the blemish cover gel directly on spots only as it is 4% sulphur and very strong indeed. I would however not recommend this series unless you really do have a very oily skin and have real issues with acne, and not just the occasional spot.
It is an expensive range, however it goes on and on like the duracel bunny! You can barely ...
Advantages: Nice to use, visible improvements in skin condition initially Disadvantages: Expensive
...with the rest of its Murad cousins, this product is easy to use. After cleansing and applying the exfoliation gel, apply the cover gel directly to the most problematic areas. This gel is quite abrasive - it contains sulphur - so I don't think you should apply it to your whole face. I must admit I never really felt moisturised after using it (this skincare regime isn't really traditional: it has the exfoliation gel instead of a toner, and the cover ... ...on some moisturiser afterwards anyway. You should be carrying out this routine twice a day.
The cover gel is quite a bright yellow colour, but it sinks into your skin very easily and there's no yellow residue or anything like that. Not particularly attractive I must say. It has a slightly clinical smell, but it's not at all overbearing and I have no problem putting it on my skin (and believe me, I'm very funny about the smells of things that I put ...
Advantages: I didn't pay full price Disadvantages: I actually paid for this
Having suffered from eczema over the years I have never had the best of skin conditions, so I am constantly being badgered by my girlfriend to keep my skin moisturised to prevent it from drying out too much. Since becoming a father I now really understand what sleep deprivation is, relaxing and sleeping are something that is now becoming a thing of the past for me, especially with the increasing amounts of energy that my children have got and my ... ...my skin and just lately has lead to the areas around my eyes starting to become a little worst for wears. Not only are they sunken with black rings around them, but the delicate skin around the eye area is becoming quite dry and sore due to my constant rubbing from tiredness. Although I’m not a vain man and I don’t have any real kind of skin care regime, I thought it was high time to do something about my poor little peepers. I work fairly close ...
Advantages: If enough is used, it can have some effect Disadvantages: Does not do it's job as it has little impact. Not good value for money.
This product is advertised to be a lot better than what it actually is. There is barely enough in the little tube to last a month of average use. The colour of the product makes the product fairly detectable (it's advertised as "undetectable") The product is very expensive for what it is and I believe that it does not do it's job in being a minimalist high effect product as it is far from that. I used the product for about 3 weeks and saw no difference ... ...made it very noticable. The colour is not what I expected to be- it is a fairly basic orange colour. I am of average skin colour for a white male (slightly tanned) and after my excessive application in hopes of seeing a difference, it was far from discrete. The product is marketed as being able to hide signs of tiredness and fatigue but be warned that this is PURELY A MARKETING GIMMICK as it does not have any effect at all. It's only use would be ...
Advantages: Dramatically changes condition of cream, even after first use. Moisturises very well. Versatile. Disadvantages: Sticky constituency. Reasonably high price, however definitely worth it!
This is a miracle in terms of beauty products, it is so versatile, i use it on my lips on my face as a face mask, and all over my body on areas of dry skin. Although it does not absorb into the skin particularly well this product will leave brilliant results, your skin is noticeably smoother and softer. The cream is a very sticky orange substance, which smells as good as it moisturises, it has a scent of spice as well as orange. I would highly recommend ...
