Slap It On! Advantages: Good price Disadvantages: Not that effective ...face mask, so I chose Mudd as it was reasonably priced, and medicated as I am prone to breakouts of spots. Mudd is a clay based mask so I expected it to be like your typical mask - like wet clay. So I was rather surprised to find that when I squeezed it out of the tube it looked incredibly, well, synthetic somehow - more the texture of a thick hair conditioner. Dermalogica Skin Refining Mask Advantages: does what it says on the tin Disadvantages: more expensive than regular skin care This is a clay-based mask for oily/combination skin. Works really well if you wanna deep-cleanse the skin a couple of times a week. The mask itself has a greenish-blue colour to it and doesn't have a strong smell. Dries in about 15 minutes. I usually put it on before I'm about to have a shower because I found it a bit difficult to wash off over the sink. I wouldn't recommend it to people with dry skin, cos I noticed that it tends to matify my oily ... ...with spots or acne so don't really know whether it would help with those. However if I don't take the make-up off thoroughly, the next morning I'll find one or two spots. This mask seems to clear them out in a couple of days. Skin As Fresh As A Daisy (No More Scales!) Advantages: No need to buy separate exfoliator scrub mask has little particles with scrub action. Saves time on beauty regime. Disadvantages: Takes a good scrub to remove water alone is not enough. I have always had problem skin and have probably bought every face product in every department store since i first started worrying about it at age 16. It has taken me almost 10 years but at last ive found my saviour. This mask has left my skin soft, glowing and blemish free for the 6 months I have been using it. dead Sea Magik Face Mask Advantages: brightens, moisturises, tones, cleans, good for travel, remedy for late nights Disadvantages: none I love this mask. I use it a lot. At first you have to apply it right otherwise it doesn't peel off easily. You just mix with water and make the mixture into a smooth paste and then apply onto your face. I leave it for 10-15 minutes and then just peel off. I use quite a thick layer so the mask peels off easily and then just wip my face with a towel and fresh water. The mask refreshes my skin and tones as well. I really feel the minerals in the mask ... ...I use this mask. It cleans and moisturises and I use it about once a week. I find my skin looks smoother and the area around my eyes brighter so it's good for late nights and tired skin from everyday life.
