Deep cleansing facial mask
Review of Avon Deep Cleansing Warming Mask by
jenny967
Advantages: Does what it says
Disadvantages: Slight discomfort when first using
...cousin used to be an Avon rep and on a regular basis I would order different items from her, usually skin care products, in my last order (which was about 4 months ago) I got the deep Cleansing warming mask.
Description
It comes in an orange 75ml tube, I am not exactly sure of the price as its been a few months from I purchased it, but it was no more than £3 or £4 . There is a slight smell of this product, it would`nt be noticably on the skin.
... ...and massage for 1 minute with wet fingers, after 1 minute rinse your face and your skin is purely clean, as usual the safety tip tells you to advoid contact with eyes. but if this does happen, you should rinse eyes, but do not rub.
First use
When first using this product dont be surprised when you get a burning sensation in your face, at first this can cause a slight discomfort, but once the cream has been rinsed off, the burning feeling will disappear.

Choccy Goodness
Review of Lush Cupcake Facial Mask by
Billiesue
Advantages: Great For Clearing Spots And Softening Skin
Disadvantages: Can Make A Mess In The Sink
...desperately wanted to try a Lush Face mask. The pots of face mask are kept on ice with a big pot of each in the middle for people to look at and smell. I really wanted to try this one as it had chocolate in (which I love). The others didn't really appeal to me. The pot of cupcake (75g) seemed a bit expensive at £4.95 but I bought it anyway (I'll try anything once). I then found out that it will last 4-5 applications. This made it more worthwhile.

Lush Brazened Honey Face Mask
Review of Lush Brazened Honey by
elizabeth.gill
Advantages: Leave skin incredibly smooth
Disadvantages: Use-by date (although this at least ensures that the mask is fresh)
I have not used Lush face masks before, but decided to give this one a try. Keep it in the fridge and use it within the time stated on the tub! It is applied and then left to set for 5 - 10 minutes. During this time, the mask pretty much dries. After massaging the gritty mask with water and then removing the residue, my skin was softer than I remember it being for a long time, with a clear rosy glow. I would probably not recommend this mask for anyone ...

The Queen of face masks!
Review of Queen Helene Mint Julep Face Mask by
vcarina88x
Advantages: Low price + large tube + gorgeous mint scent + really works!
Disadvantages: Sulfur smell - flip-top would be better - possibly update the design
I love mint...mmm it's got such a gorgeous smell! I also love how they use the word "masque" rather than "mask"; there's nothing fancy about this item, though ;)
PACKAGING
This mask comes in both tube form and tub form. I, personally, prefer the tube and am not such a fan of the tub. I think it's just because the tubes are easier to carry around, for example, if staying overnight somewhere, and so on. The tub is more economical, though, it has ... ...plastic - the plastic that you can squeeze easily, exactly like the E45 tubes of cream. To me, the design is retro - it doesn't look modern, rather it looks like a classic oldie. It sports white and green gradient background with a deep green plastic lid. The lid is of the screw-top type. My only gripe is that it could have a flip-top lid; screw-tops are problematic when you have mud-covered hands!
Like the image, mine has the "33% free" slogan ...

Isn't chocolate supposed to be bad for you?
Review of Lush Cupcake Facial Mask by
Laura16xXx
Advantages: Value for money, clears up teenage skin, smells divine
Disadvantages: messy to remove
Cupcake was the first fresh face mask that I tried from Lush. I'd never really been interested in the face masks before, but I was intrigued by Lush's 'fresh' face masks.
Firstly, they are stored in the shops in black 75g pots, in ice. This is so that they are kept as fresh as possible, as when taken home, they have to be refridgerated. I was also amazed by some of the ingredients in them, partcularly cupcake, which contains real chocolate. I just ... ...75g tub, which is supposed to last four uses, so it is pretty good value for money. When I got home, I used it straight away. I tied up my hair, preparing to feel pampered. I wasn't disappointed. The face mask was thick and surprisingly smooth. It goes onto your skin easily and it is easy to get good even coverage. Once I had applied the face mask, I laid back, relaxed, and allowed the gorgeous smell to drift around the house. Cupcake smells divine! ...
