- Promotes a more even skin tone and brighter, more radiant complexion"
What is in it?

... ...I use a lot of Clarins products and normally really love the smell of them but I have to say I really don't like the smell of this one its difficult to describe but its not up to Clarins usually wonderful smelling standards. Care for your skin and spirit
Review of Clarins Plant Purifying Mask by
super_star
Advantages: Soft, smooth, bright, un-tired looking skin!
Disadvantages: Price...
Face masks...as everybody knows give an instant beauty boost to the skin, revitalising the whole area, softening and smoothing contours and replenishing dry or undernourished skin
Inspired by nature, created to enhance your skin's overall beauty by offering the aromatic benefits of essential oils and the beauty treatment properties of plant extracts. Or so it tells me.
My boyfriend kindly bought me this as sort of a little (hinted at) present, ... ...needed a much needed treat after all the awful weather we have had.
It cost him £21 for a 50ml tube from our local department store. You may get it cheaper if you shop around. But he is a man so that idea may have slipped his mind...but it doesn't matter as it wasn't my money! It is expensive...well compared to my usual face masks I usually get from Marks and Spencers it is - they are only £1 for 1 and they work like a treat!
The mask comes in ...

WHEN "PLUMP" IS GOOD
Review of Clarins Thirst Quenching Hydra-Care Mask by
Pumpkin
Advantages: Lovely effect on skin
Disadvantages: Expensive and effects not as long lasting as I'd hope
...being a bit of a Clarins fan I decided to treat myself to something new from their range.
I am constantly battling against dry, dehydrated skin, and although I am only in my mid 20s, I am concerned about the onslaught of fine lines. I also find that the effects of air conditioning and pollution can leave my skin feeling dull and lacklustre (I’m sounding like an advertisement for a face cream!) I asked the Clarins assistant for some advice on what ... ...experience of the effectiveness of Clarins products I was quite happy to part with this amount.
The product comes in the usual Clarins box, simply packaged in white with red and gold trim, and no one can deny that it looks impressive on any dressing table. Inside is a leaflet giving some brief directions in various different languages and information about other products in the range. Inside, the mask is in a very flat squeezy tube. I was quite ...

Hydrating I ask? (And I'm being diplomatic)
Review of Elizabeth Arden Hydrating Mask by
lillamarta
Advantages: Handy bottle
Disadvantages: Hydrating effect is very short term
Skin type: Not specified
Introduction
Back in August while browsing in beauty discounter I noticed a range of masks from Elisabeth Arden. One of these masks was called Hydrating Mask. My face always in a bit of a need of some TLC and at £6 discounted price I snapped one up right there.
What it says it does
There aren't any particular claims written on the tube itself other than the usual instructions. However, I've found ... ...again at a discounted price and having the following product description:
* (...) luxurious, intensively moisturizing mask for dry skin enriched with botanicals. * (...) leaves skin hydrated, soothed, feeling rejuvenated
On another site:
* (...) particularly useful in the winter time when skin is most parched and in need of deep hydration
* An intensive hydrating treatment mask. Regular use maintains suppleness of complexion and will result in ...

I warmed to it
Review of The Body Shop Warming Mineral Mask by
lillamarta
Advantages: Leaves skin soft and plumped up, deep cleansing, oil-balancing
Disadvantages: Sometimes hard to squeeze out of bottle
...friend is a fan of The Body Shop and managed to lure me into one in Oxford Street. I wasn't looking for anything in particular, but I saw they had a fairly large tube of warming clay mask product and realised it actually came very handy. I was going to Mauritius at the end of the year for three months and because I wanted to gently tan my body I needed something to cleanse my face without using exfoliating face scrubs. Exfoliation and sun exposure ... ...because exfoliating products also remove the mature outer layer of the skin together with the dead cells. The skin has a protective mechanism against UV damage which would also be destroyed by exfoliation. This mechanism works by thickening the outer layer of the skin to better prevent the sun rays from entering the epidermis and causing premature damage to new forming cells. The packaging
The mask comes in a plastic tube with a clear flip ...
