...desperately wanted to try a Lush Face mask. The pots of face mask are kept on ice with a big pot of each in the middle for people to look at and smell. I really wanted to try this one as it had chocolate in (which I love). The others didn't really appeal to me. ...the medication, I went into Lush on a recommendation from a friend. The staff in there were friendly and helpful, talking me through all of their products for problem skin and eventually sending me away with three samples - of which Catastrophe Cosmetic is one. I wasn't sure about the name, but it smells lovely and is a nice, attractive colour. I rarely take time to search for a decent face mask - I tend to just buy an assortment of sachets from ...
...feeling quite positive about trying this facemask and thankfully I wasn't wrong. The face mask is quite solid (as opposed to runny) and has a nice, clayey consistency that's easy to spread on your face. I was told that the sample size would probably do one treatment at most, but I got quite successful results with spreading it on thinly, so I think I'll probably get at least three applications from the sample size pot. Disadvantages: Use-by date (although this at least ensures that the mask is fresh)

I have not used Lush face masks before, but decided to give this one a try. Keep it in the fridge and use it within the time stated on the tub! It is applied and then left to set for 5 - 10 minutes. During this time, the mask pretty much dries. After massaging the gritty mask with water and then removing the residue, my skin was softer than I remember it being for a long time, with a clear rosy glow. ...and looks flawless. Lush market this product as a face and back pack. I haven't personally used it on my back, as it's relatively problem-free, but if the deep-cleansing and smoothing effects on my face are anything to go by, I'd imagine this product works fantastically on backs which are prone to break-outs, or just need a bit of TLC (although I can't quite imagine the position you'd have to assume to wait for it to dry!).
