Looking at the last review it was a few years ago, I have being 'scanning' for about 6 months now. It is really the easiest thing going. the scanner and base station are really smallm scanner just being about 10 cm tall and fits well in the hand and the base station about 5 cm across. You just scan all your shopping when you get home, using the barcode book when it doesn't recognise something, it asks if it was on offer and what type. Then at the end you just enter the total bill amount. You then place the scanner back in the base unit until the next time. It works on a internet line on you phone, it is still all free and I have never heard anything from my scanner except the very occassional beep if I am next to the unit when it sends the data.

The FREE helpline are just that, helpful. I had a fault on the adapter thing that plugs into the phone line which meant I couldn't receive calls so I unpluged the scanner, got in touch with the helpline and they sent me another adapter which I plugged in and away we went. I continued scanning whilst it wasn't working and all the data was stored and has just been sent.

This really is something worth doing, my kids love helping and there is arguments as to who's turn it is!!
