Hassle free shopping!
Advantages: Impressive discounts Disadvantages: Not enough to do to last a whole day
I visited Freeport Shopping Village in Braintree for the first time recently. Before I arrived I thought the outlet would be undercover like other shopping centres. The fact that it isn't meant we got a bit cold in the gusty winds! Parking is free, which is great when you are used to high prices for town centre parking.
There are around 80 shops there, and I will mention some of the ones we visited. There was a large Next store with big discounts. ... ...try shoes on, and no changing rooms. I found this very strange, and we live too far away to try things on when we got home and bring them back if they don't fit.
There is a Marks and Spencers which is small. The Per Una range is included in their stock, but I wasn't impressed with anything inside, I thought I had gone back in time! We headed straight out again after a quick whizz round. The Designer Room I found to be full of bargains. All the prices ...

Excellent shopping experience
Advantages: Good value Disadvantages: Don't always have your size.
I love Boundary Mill in Romford. I used to travel to Freeport, Braintree, or McArthur Glen, Ashford. No more. Saves on fuel and time, which means that I get longer to shop.
Always a huge selection and various prices, so you can pay as much, or as little as you want. Staff are friendly and helpful.
They have recently introduced a Homewares Department and I can get lost for hours in there.
I am taking my 84 year old Dad this afternoon. He wants ...

Clarks Village - My favourite place to shop
Advantages: Lots of cheap designer shops Disadvantages: Parking & runs out of popular sizes quick
...and my mum headed to Clarks Village in Street Somerset a few times and back then Clarks Village was not that big and didn't have very many good shops but recently a friend mentioned that he went and recommended that we take a look, so one Saturday we took a trip there and was amazed at what we saw. I would say that it had at least tripled in size since I was last there and the quality of the shops was also a massive improvement. There are many more ... ...Now whenever I visit Clarks Village I always spend a fortune but instead of only getting one or two items for my money (like when I shop in the high street) I come back with bags and bags of stuff and most of it is designer gear. There are a couple of down points to Clarks Village though, one would be the parking, unless you head up there early (before 10am) you will struggle to get parked especially when its holiday season, there are a few massive ...

Quality Shopping
Advantages: All the shops in one place Disadvantages: the prices
Heading west on the M8 motorway from Edinburgh and towards Glasgow, you will at about 12 miles find Livingston and Junction 3. Once off the motorway simply follow the main road until you cross the river Almond ( about 2.5 miles ) here you veer left and follow the sign to MacArthur Glen and indeed Livingston Shopping Centre ( Almondvale ). There is abundant parking, but should you fail to find a space in the three main parking areas, about 500 yards ... ...has exits leading straight to MacArthur Glen.
Now I'm not a great fan of outlet like this since I do believe you get ripped off something rotten, but each to their own, and to be fair there is plenty of choice here should you which to purchase that so called bargain. You can also if you wish have a bite to eat in the many eateries located on the upstairs part of the complex, Harry Ramsdens, Pizza Hut, and MacDonalds to name but three. Here you will ...

Shop Untill You Drop...
Advantages: Massive designer brands at knock down prices. Disadvantages: Nothing what so ever...
INTRODUCTION
On a recent trip to York with my Husband, we decided to visit the McArthur Glen designer shopping outlets that are situated just outside of York.
As a real shopaholic this is the place for me as you can grab designer brands at knockdown prices, I love to have designer clothing and accessories but I hate to pay the price so these McArthur outlets have given me the chance of a new winter wardrobe at a fantastic price.
We visited in ... ...there were many of bargains to be had, so I feel that this is a place to shout about so I am reviewing it to let everyone know what to expect if they ever visit.
MCARTHUR OUTLETS
McArther Glen has a chain of outlet villages across the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Italy. These McArthur designer outlets have become so popular that they are developing many other locations around the globe.
What makes McArthur so special is the fact that they ...
