Advantages: Excellent features. Ease of use. Quiet. Reliable. Excellent warranty! Disadvantages: Expensive outlay, unfamiliar brand but this is NOT a problem!
One day when I was having lunch at Yo Sushi I got a rather frantic phone call from my partner. The washer dryer had decided to spark, smoke and set itself alight during the drying process. Once the electric was isolated the fire went out, however I was far from impressed. I didn't want to even chance getting this fixed so off I went on a search for a new washer dryer. It can be a bit of a minefield out there in kitchen appliance land with many stores offering deals on 100's of machines! Eventually I discovered a local electrical warehouse and called them direct, they soon presented a number of machines that would be suitable and at a good budget. I went straight down to have a look and came back with my new Fagor!

Advantages: Can be intergrated , 1400 spin if the motors working. Disadvantages: the motors dont last long
Bought a Fagor 6146 in February 2008 to fit into our new kitchen , after two and a half months a fault code F08 appeared a new motor was required , this was fixed under warranty , we are now in July 2009 and yes you've guessed it fault code F08 , so I called the call center and specifically told them about the fault code F08 , thinking that like last time the engineer would bring a new motor out with him and I would only have to have 1 day off work as the engineer's appointment time is ALL DAY , could be 08.00 could be 5.30 pm they can not specify a time , the engineer came out 6 days later 06/07/2009 without a motor and said F08 you need a new motor I'll order one it'll take 3-5 days , so that's another day off work to arrange , it's cost £104 so far and I've had to dismantle the sink half of the kitchen to get the Fagor washer out ...

Advantages: None that Come to mind Disadvantages: This machine exhausts unacceptable amounts of Hot Air into the room when compared to other machines
We purchased this machine in October 2004 and ever since my wife has been complaining about the amount of hot air that comes from the machine.
The machine is located in a large kitchen / utility which becomes unbearably hot when the dryer is in use. We have to open the windows to reduce the temperature.
After contacting Bosch they are unable to confirm that this is normal or is likely to be the result of a manufacturing defect and want me to schedule for a service call to check the machine, for which I may have to pay.
Our daughter has an Electrolux condensing dryer and we have experience of a Fagor and neither of these machines have the same problem. In fact the Fagor is excellent!
We are so disappointed that we may have to throw the Bosch Dryer away and buy a new machine. I imagine that the energy savings will pay for the new ...
