Advantages: None that Come to mind Disadvantages: This machine exhausts unacceptable amounts of Hot Air into the room when compared to other machines
...We purchased this machine in October 2004 and ever since my wife has been complaining about the amount of hot air that comes from the machine.
The machine is located in a large kitchen / utility which becomes unbearably hot when the dryer is in use. We have to open the windows to reduce the temperature.
After contacting Bosch they are unable to confirm that this is normal or is likely to be the result of a manufacturing defect and want me to schedule for a service call to check the machine, for which I may have to pay.
Our daughter has an Electrolux condensing dryer and we have experience of a Fagor and neither of these machines have the same problem. In fact the Fagor is excellent!
We are so disappointed that we may have to throw the Bosch Dryer away and buy a new machine. I imagine that the energy savings will pay for the new...
