Advantages Gentle on skin

Disadvantages Slightly expensive compared to other brands

Review summary
A good washing product, gentle on skin, very good at removing stains and suitable for all the family. Can however be expensive so stock up if you see it on offer.
When Lauren was born, I immediately purchased Fairy Non Bio washing powder as I had heard this was best for baby.

*The Product:*

Fairy boast it gives you amazingly clean clothes, soft towels and bedding, all with that gentle feeling of softness next to precious skin. All Fairy Non Bio products are dermatologically tested and endorsed by the British Allergy Foundation.

*The Range & Prices:*

There are a range of products in the Fairy Non Bio Family,
- Liquid (32 wash costs around £6)
- Liquitabs (10 wash costs around £4, 20 wash costs around £7 and 30 wash costs around £10)
- Powder (various sizes but 90 wash costs around £18)
- Tablets (20 wash around £6)
- Gel (16 wash around £5, 24 wash costs around £7,

To compliment the range you can also buy Fabric Softener.

I have found Fairy available in most shops in some sort of format. I don't have a preference on whether I use gel, powder etc, so if I ever spot this on offer, I always stock up.

*My Opinion:*

We now use this for all the family rather than just Laurens clothes and it leaves them feeling really fresh and soft. I can see why it is recommended for babies or for people with sensitive skin.

The product doesn't smell too overpowering, it is only slightly fragranced which I quite like too.

As you can imagine, with a young baby there was some stubborn stains to remove, either a leakage with a nappy (sorry) or getting dinner down them when weaning however I never had to apply any additional stain remover on her clothes, Fairy was able to remove these.

I would recommend this product to not just babies or people with sensitive skin but to anybody wanting a good quality washing powder which leaves clothes feeling fresh and really soft.

The only downside is the product can sometime be a little pricey compared to other standard non bio washing powders therefore I would always recommend stocking up if you find it on offer. I also found that when I joined Tesco's Mother and Baby Club, when they send their vouchers out, quite often there are money off coupons included. Also, when Asda have their Mother & Toddler Event, this is also included with a decent saving.
