Dive-bombed by a Hedgehog

Advantages: It softens up baked-on food
Disadvantages: So does cheapo washing-up liquid at a third of the price - or less

...I see? NEW - Fairy Power Spray. I’m sure I saw an advert for that, stuck on a bottle of Fairy washing-up liquid. They said it would remove anything the ordinary liquid had trouble with.

It’s certainly not cheap at £2.48 for 375 ml so it must be good. I’ll give it a try…

++++++++++++++ The Challenge ++++++++++++++

So today we’ve had Vegetarian Shepherd’s Pie for lunch, complete with shepherd’s fingernail ...
...half the tin with this Fairy stuff and the other half with a cheapo washing-up liquid I got from Lidl.

I’ll do exactly what it says on the bottle: Allow hot surfaces to cool down, spray on the Fairy without adding water and leave for 10-30 minutes but no longer.

Ah, that’s Problem Number One. The spray isn’t diffuse enough – it all lands on the same small area instead of spreading widely. I’ll use up quite a lot trying ... more

Value for Money

Do you need to use much...

Irritable to skin?

Longlasting effects?

Shame on you Ainsley

Advantages: Its on offer
Disadvantages: It doesnt live up to expectations

...on an t.v. advertisement for Fairy Power Spray caught my attention. He wielded his green trigger spray bottle of the spray and within seconds all his baked on dirty dishes were transformed to brand new. I have been told that I should have "gullible" tattoed on my forehead and although I wasn't entirely convinced, I thought Ainsley was a genuine sort of a chap and as he'd given the product such a glowing endorsement, I would go on a mission to find ...
...those who need to know, Fairy is made by Proctor and Gamble and the label proudly displays a crest and the magic words "by appointment to Her Majesty the Queen". Now I may be gullible, but even I can't see the Queen donning her marigolds and blasting her dirty dishes, but anything that's good enough for the Royal Household must be OK for Chez Pat. The label on the front of the bottle shows the usual cute Fairy baby, but this time he (or she) means ...

Does the job your washing powder could do???

Advantages: Tough on hard to clean pans etc
Disadvantages: Expensive

...for promises? THE PROMISE Fairy Power Spray for tough to clean pans, ovenware and grills (got plenty of those). Easily tackles burnt and baked on food problems (even more of those). You use it on foodstuffs...grease, fried food, roast, meat, fish, sauces (preferably AFTER they have left the dish). The product can be used on roasting tins, saucepans, casserole dishes, frying pans and woks, hob tops (traditional and ceramic), glass surfaces, grills, ...
...worker!! WHAT DO I DO? Firstly, allow hot dishes to cool. This warning I cannot understand. Why would you start to clean your dishes before you've eaten? 1. Turn the nozzle onto the "on" position (yes...) and spray. 2. Leave to act for 10-30 minutes. However, it comes with a severe warning, NOT more than 30 minutes. 3. Rinse with water or put into a dishwasher and wash. 4. Remember very tough stains may need more than 1 application. It cannot ...

There really is a cleaning fairy!

Advantages: It works!
Disadvantages: Would be better with a wider spray

...I was recently recommended Fairy Power Spray and when I saw it in the shop today at the very reasonable price of £1.94 (normally £2.44), I thought I'd give it a go. The Packaging: A green trigger spray bottle featuring a drawn picture of a baby donning boxing gloves (somewhat alarming!). What it Claims: "Easily tackles burnt and baked on food problems. Works best on grease, fried food, roasts, meat, fish, sauces." It claims to be suitable for ...
...frying pans & woks, hob tops - ceramic & traditional, glass & ceramic dishes, grills - BBQ, oven and grill pan, and ovens (inside, door, grill) & microwaves. How to use: Allow hot surfaces to cool first. 1. SPRAY - Turn nozzle to the "ON" position. Do not add water. 2. LEAVE TO ACT - Not more than 30 minutes. 3. RINSE WITH WATER - or put in the dishwasher & wash within 30 mins. Ensure appliances are thoroughly wiped clean. What it actually did: ...

Burnt on food beware!

Advantages: Easy to use, biodegradable, no more scrubbing and soaking for hours.
Disadvantages: Having to wait for up to 30 minutes for the product to work, not suitable for all types of finishes.

...all the hallmarks of a Fairy product, made by Procter & Gamble, bright green, "FAIRY" in bright red and a picture of the little fairy baby but this time he is wearing his boxing gloves, this time he means business. I could not wait to make my homemade lasagne and try the power spray out, so that afternoon I did just that. I do put off making my lasagne because after we have eaten it is such a job to clean the lasagne dish, all that burnt on cheese ...
...clean again. Lots of elbow grease and a couple of those old soap filled cleaning pads and the dish still looked like I hadn't touched it. NIGHTMARE!! The instructions state that it will take "Three simple steps to removing tough baked and burnt on food" 1. Allow hot surfaces to cool down, Turn the nozzle to the 'ON' position. Spray on the item WITHOUT adding water. Turn the nozzle to the 'OFF' position. 2. LET THE PRODUCT ACT FOR 10-30 MINS (DO ...

A fairy with power

Advantages: It shifts scrambled eggs
Disadvantages: It stinks

...mention my poor purse. Fairy power spray. This product is manufactured by Procter and Gamble. Presentation. This product comes in a green spray bottle with the word Fairy in bold red letters, with a picture of lovely clean dishes and the Fairy baby wearing his usual nappy and sporting a pair of bright red boxing gloves....scary. ...use for my cottage pies, I even managed to clean my oven. What does it smell like? Horrendous is the word that springs to mind. I know your not supposed to sniff the stuff, but you can't help but get a whiff and it takes your breath away. Did it work? Yup it sure did. It cleaned my oven, pots, pans etc. etc. It shifts scrambled eggs from pans. The oven needed two 30 minute treatments. On all the things I cleaned there was no elbow grease needed. ...

I need a Mr Muscle

Advantages: Easy, Cheap, timesaving
Disadvantages: Smells a bit and you can get messy.

I was cleaning my kitchen yesterday and i had just laid a new vinyl floor, i looked in the oven and thought O my god what a disgrace. I have had my oven for almost 2 years and i had never cleaned it out. Its just one of them things that i have never done. But this time i opened it and thought i could never let anyone look in my cooker and see that. There was thick grease all around it . Mainly on the bottom where there was burnt chips and things i couldn't even recognise anymore. So yesterday i took myself off to morrisons and looked for an oven cleaner. I remember my friend saying she had tried all different kinds of oven cleaners like fairy power spray and cillit bang which were both extremely expensive. She said that she had used Mr Muscle oven cleaner so i thought i would try that. After looking through all the different oven ...

Review of Mr Muscle Over Cleaner

IT REALLY WORKS BUT CAN I STILL GET IT?

Advantages: It really works and cuts through grease and grime
Disadvantages: Only available online or at a local market

this originally from Tesco priced at less then £2.00 a bottle which may sound expensive but considering the wash loads you get from one bottle it?s a bargain. The only place you can now purchase this online is at www.choiceful.com priced at £3.07 plus a delivery charge or free if you spend over £45.00. It is still available on the local market stalls, I have seen this at Selby, Doncaster, Leeds and York priced between £1.50 & £1.75 a bottle and an average price of £1.25 for a refill so I am guessing it is available at most market stalls. I have been told Fairy Foam is similar to the new Power Spray but I?ve yet to try it!  PACKAGING  Comes in a posh looking green contain with Fairy?s famous logo and baby. The pump action top is white with a red lid so you can turn the pump action on and off. Other useful ...
