As I am now lucky enough to be the owner of a dishwasher it is not that often that I now need to wash up by hand, however as I am sure most of you know there are always those few items that need to be washed by hand and as I went to wash some delicate wine glasses up as well as wanting to give some Vases a good spring clean. The last bottle of washing up liquid I had brought was from Tesco and was one of their own brands however seeing as I had put my mind to getting this washing up done I popped along to my local Spa shop and decided to grab whatever they had on their shelves, this ended up being a bottle of the Fairly Liquid Lavender.

As I brought this from a convenience store I think I paid slightly more that I would if I had brought this in a Supermarket, it cost me £1.79 for the large 650ml bottle and whilst this is slightly expensive if you keep your eyes peeled you will find it on an offer somewhere. There are smaller bottles available but this was all they had in the shop.

The bottle is made from recyclable plastic and it has a paper label around it with all the details of the product on it. The plastic is clear so you can clearly see the liquid through it and it is a lilac / purple colour, just as you would expect with a lavender product.

The label as I previously mentioned has the Fairy Liquid logo and name on it as well as the scent of the product. If you then turn the bottle around there is more information on ingredient listings and instructions for use. There is also the traditional red cap that the fairy liquid bottles come with and allows you to dispense the product.

When it comes to dispensing the liquid you just need to tilt the bottle and the liquid will flow out. The first thing that I noticed was the smell of the product, there was a lovely lavender scent and it was not to strong but just really fresh and soft. The liquid was quite thick but had a very smooth consistency as I poured it into the water prepared to wash up.

The washing up was made very easy with this product, it was clear to see that the dirt wsa veing removed from my glassware and not just that but the glasses after drying had a real sparkle to them so the product is certainly very impressive. I also noticed that you only need a small amount of the liquid and a little will go along way, this bottle was brought a couple of weeks ago but I can see it lasting me a great deal of time. The porduct is also kind to skin, ~I try to wear gloves but on the occasions I have forgot the liquid is actually quite soothing

In summary, this has to be one of the best products that I have tried, it does exactly as it promises and leaves your dishes and glassware sparkling and really clean.
