Fairy Washing Up Liquid Lemon

Fairy washing up liquid is one of my favourites, I usually always buy it on special offer to save money because it is a brand that I like to buy on a regular basis. I really do trust this brand because it has been around for many years and is well worth the money.

The liquid comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a flip back top. The top also closes really well on the bottle unlike some brands. This one just snaps back into place firmly and if the bottle tips over for some reason, the liquid stays inside the bottle, unlike with some other brands I have bought were the top doesn’t snap back into place and opens and the liquid then pours onto the surface. The liquid is a bright yellow colour and looks really refreshing inside the bottle and clean looking. It has a kind of shiny glow to it. For a 433ml bottle it usually costs around £1.20 but often can be bought on special offer for a £1 or even less at times.

The liquid is a really thick and rich consistency and pours from the bottle really nicely from the tiny hole at the top of the bottle.. It has a soft texture and is really soft. It has a really nice Lemon fragrance and one that is quite strong. It is a nice pleasant one and one that has a lasting lemon smell while washing the dishes. Only a small amount is needed to create the bubbles and lather in the water and a little goes a very long way and so the bottle does last that little bit longer. The bubbles do not fizzle from the water as some tend to do, with this one the bubbles last for a very long time and I can leave my dishes to soak in the water and return a while later and the bubbles are still in the water, just how I like them to be so that I can then continue to wash my dishes in the usual way after soaking those stubborn food on my dishes and saucepans. It is easy to rinse from the dishes to leave them nice and clean. It cleans my glasses really well too and leaves them sparklingly clean. It does not leave streak marks on the glasses after rinsing them, it just leaves them with a clear shine.

It cuts into grease just perfectly, it removes dried on food from saucepans and plates. It dissolves the food to release it from the dishes in a way that it is not necessary to keep on scrubbing with a scourer etc. The liquid does all the hard work and cleans the dishes well. It is also a nice gentle liquid and gentle on the skin. I do mostly use rubber gloves to wash my dishes but I have many times just washed them without wearing my gloves if I have been in a rush to wash the dishes or am just wanting to wash a few cups etc and do not want to put on my gloves. This liquid has not irritated my skin at all and has not dried the skin.

It cleans my glass jugs and removes the gravy or custard from the jugs because those items tend to stick in the bottom of my jugs and a quick soak in the liquid solution and the gravy etc is removed just perfectly to leave the jugs sparkling again.

I like the shape of this bottle because I find it so easy to hold and to pour the liquid from the bottle. I can easily grip it because it is pear shaped and slimline. It is not a bulky bottle like some other brands. This one takes little space in a cupboard and sits well on a work surface. It does not tip over because the base of it is nice and flat and very sturdy.

This one is a liquid that I highly do recommend to others, I think it is a very good quality liquid, very good value for the money and one that lasts and works a treat to clean dishes and it is also good for soaking dish clothes water at the end of the day, then the next morning the clothes are nice and clean and refreshed to last a little longer. This one gives me all the results that I expect from a washing up liquid and it is one that I will continue to buy in the future because I just love it so much.
