Fairy is a great washing up liquid, with built in soaking action, allowing your dishes to be left spotless and evidently clean! I am a big fan of this washing up liquid (particullarly their lemon & lime essence) as using just a little bit of it allows hundreds of dishes to be washed! Ive been purchasing this washing up liquid almost all my life, particullarly the green one and Ive never found any problems with it. It lasts me about 2-3 months with a family of 7 which is a bonus for me and ALSO contains a great smell, leaving your dishes smelling good aswell as looking good which is a MUST for me. Its also very cheap for what its worth as I usually purchase a normal 433ml bottle from my local Asda for only 97p, but they usually have offers on them as i tend to get 2 for a pound sometimes. (You can personally purchase them from any local Asda, Tesco, Sainsburies or even 99p stores) for almost the same price. You don't have to buy the lemon and lime essence in particular, they come in many different types for example:

Lemon (the yellow one)

antibacterial action (the blue one)

Apple (the white one)

Clean and care (the lilac one)

Orchid (the purple one)

And many many more!

Fairy is made by a company namely Procter and gamble who make everything from Fairy washing up liquid to crest toothpaste and head and shoulders shampoo so they are a very well known and trusted firm who support skincare and spend various amounts of money on skincare research, thus, don't be afraid of any dangers that may occur, however, be sure to purchase the real Fairy washing up liquid as fakes have also been produced and many sold in markets rather than shops. In order to make sure your buying the right one, the cover reads ''By appointment to her majesty the Queen Manufacturers of Soap and Detergents Procter & Gamble UK,Newcastle upon Tyne'' The packaging of the washing up liquid usually has ''FAIRY'' written in capital letters within the middle of the bottle and ALWAYS has a red lid no matter what colour it comes in.

The benefits of the washing up liquid is that you don't have to scrub too hard in order to get your dishes clean as the washing up liquid seems to already do the job for you. This is due to the ingridients contained within the washing up liquid. For example, anionic surfactants, Methylisothiazolinone, phenoxyethanol, perfumes (for the lovely smell they produce) butylphenyl and cinnamol etc. On the other hand, disadvantages are also evident but its nothing major. They could keep your hands quite dry after washing dishes however, if you rinse them thoroughly after you've finished then you have nothing to worry about yet, if you have damaged or sensitive skin then you should completely avoid prolonged contact with this washing up liquid as it could make it worse.

Additionally, to read more about the washing up liquid then feel free to visit www.fairy-dish.com and if you need to write to them regarding any queries then here's their address Procter & Gamble (UK) The Heights, Brooklands, Weybridge, Surrey, KT13 0XP Telephone number: 0800 328 5901 (but keep in mind that you will be charged 10p a minute for this call)
