I have been shopping lately and I love it when it gets to this time of the year, sales. I usually go to shoe shops like Office and Schuh because my Faith branches are further away and do have less choice but every once in a while when I walk into a Faith branch I do find myself liking something in there. It used to be a shop which hardly had any branches but only lately has it really been opening up branches in a lot of shopping centres to expand its locations and customers. I first heard of Faith a while ago it used to always be the shoe section in Topshop and that is how I came to hear of it but then they opened stores up in their own right.
Faith was founded in 1964 by Samuel Faith it was started to gain loyal customers and shoes that were fashionable but affordable. They have one numerous awards including Best Footwear and Ultimate Shoe Retailer. Their main customer aims are to a girl who loves shoes, is sexy and fun. In 2002 they went through a branch expansion and started opening up branches in smaller places. They also have concessions in places like Debenhams and Allders. The good thing about Faith as well is there are shoes there for every possible occasion and they are also shoes that appeal to all age groups.
In Faith stores you can always tell who the staff are they are usually wearing black and have a name badge so unlike say Office, they are easy to spot. If you are just looking around they will usually ask if you need help but I like it here because they will not force you to buy something and leave you to it unless you ask them something. I find at sale times it does get pretty hectic in here, the other day I bought some shoes in here and the staff even though it was busy still asked me if I needed help. They seem to have a good system it is like a barcode machine they scan the shoe then log it onto a computer and the other members of staff will then come out and ask who was looking for the particular shoe in that size.
When trying on my shoes the assistant left me to it and then came back and took my shoes to the till right away. The good thing with Faith stores is that they aren’t too big so they can really keep control of every customer and what is going on.
When you walk into a faith store it is usually wooden flooring and bright lighting so that you can see everything on display. They have their crystal, embellished high heels for nights out, they work kind of heels, the lower heels for going out, wedding shoes, sandals and bags hung up that sometimes match certain shoes. Near the back they have casual shoes like flats and lace up shoes and then they have their Faith Solo range which is less common and more expensive but they are really nice shoes although most are high heels.
Sometimes I do like the Faith Solo range but yet I sometimes feel it is a bit of a tacky range. When going onto the Faith website at http://www.faith.co.uk and searching Faith Solo the shoes that come up are all brightly coloured with too much decoration on them. There are the odd ones that are pretty but I suppose it’s like any shoe shop you can’t like all of the shoes there. I am quite tall myself and so I do not like 3 inch heels as this makes me self conscious and I hate to be towering over all of my friends. I find with Faith they do the option of low to mid heel for people like me who don’t like too high a heel and it means I can still find a really nice shoe for going out without it having to be 3 inches or higher which most shoe shops always do.
With Faith the other obvious good thing is the price range; they have all of their really nice shoes reach no higher than £50. They have flats which can only cost up to£25 and are still really nice too. As I said the only really expensive shoes are from the Faith Solo range or the bridal range.
The sales in here can either be a hit or miss. I walked into one branch in Manchester and found nothing as they had literally reduced all of the cheapest shoes and most hideous. Whereas I walked into the shop in the Arndale Centre and there were a lot of shoes in every size even a 7 which I am where usually I can never get nice shoes as it only seems to be the size 4’s that are lucky. Here they were all good priced they had about 2 racks of 7’s and then the flat shoes rack too so I felt quite happy. I found about three pairs I liked but after trying them all on decided on one.
If you haven’t looked at their sale yet you really should as you might find a good bargain. Mine were reduced from £30 to £15 and I know I’ll get a lot of wear out of them so I was very happy with them. If you want to shop online and can’t get access to a Faith branch then it is a really good site, it shoes pictures of every shoe and tells you all sizes available and colours. They categorizes them all by bridal, wedges, size 9, men’s, pumps, courts then sub categorize by heel size which is really helpful. All online orders are sent by first class recorded or courier.
Advantages: Nice Shoes/Boots, Good Quality, Student Discount (10%),Caters for those with Size 9 Feet. Disadvantages: Quite Pricey, Shops are too Small.
***INTRODUCTION***
Faith Shoes were founded in 1964. Faith has won awards for their shoes and they produce good quality fashionable products. If you do not have a Faith shop near you, their shoes can also be found in Topshop, Dorothy Perkins and Department Stores such as Debenhams and Allders. The Faith shops that I use are very small in my opinion: Southampton and Portsmouth. To find out where the nearest Faith store is to you, take a look at the ... ...http://www.faith.co.uk/catalogue/default.asp
***WHAT DOES FAITH SELL?***
They sell boots, shoes, sandals, and bags for women. They tend to have a fairly good range of shoes even though their shops are quite small. Take a look at their website to see pictures of the shoes they sell.
***HOW DOES FAITH COMPARE TO SCHUH?***
Schuh sells a huge range of other brands; they have a larger selection than Faith. I do like Faith shoes very much especially ...

Advantages: Huge range of fashion shoes Disadvantages: can be expensive
...I find myself drawn to Faith as I had seen a pair of mules there the other week and wondered if they would be in the sale.
For those of you that don’t know Faith is a large womens only fashion shoe store. They have won Best footwear company of the year in Company magazine for the last 3 years. They sell mainly fashion shoes and it’s the type of store where you would the “average” customer is under the age of 35.
What is ... ...I would say that Faith normally excel in their range of boots and sandals.
I have always found the quality of their shoes rto be good. I buy on average about 20 pairs of shoes a year about half of which come from heer and have only had one problem. They do have a large range of fashion shoes but you have to expect to be a little bit carefull in high heeled strappy shoes and not try and runa marathon and expect no damage. The comfort factor is fairly ...

Advantages: Large range of styles and colours, something for everyone. Disadvantages: Small stores, high prices.
Faith is a brand that I have always associated with being high quality, fashionable footwear but often avoid due to the idea that had somehow been planted in my head that the prices are astronomical. However, when walking past one day I decided to have a look and maybe if something caught my eye, treat myself. I was right the prices were astronomical but somehow when the glint and glare from all of the fabulous and glamorous styles of strappy sandals ... ...What is Faith?
Faith is a typical high street store, which can be found on most highstreets as it is such a popular name in the footwear world. It predominantly sells women's footwear but also sell a range of bags.
It caters for a lot of tastes whether it's a boot or a dolly shoe that you're looking for and therefore has something for everyone.
Who is the target market ?
I would say that the target market is for younger women who are passionate ...

Advantages: lovely shoes Disadvantages: lousy service
...this weekend, I stumbled across Faith this morning. Not a store I have ever bought anything from before, but they had some nice sparkly shoes in the window that looked like they would go with my dress. So, not wanting to wear DM's with my ball gown, I ventured in.
The store was quite welcoming, brightly lit and well laid out. Shoes were on displays around the edge of the store and there were a few stands in the middle of the store. There appeared ... ...is certainly hasn’t given me faith in their service. The shoes may be very nice, but having to wait 15 minutes to be able to try a pair on isn’t. As I said earlier, it was only out of desperation for a pair of shoes at short notice that I stayed to complete the purchase – any other time I would have walked out long before.
There is a website if you want to have a look at some of the range – www.faith.co.uk. There is also ...

Advantages: A wide range of items Disadvantages: not enough seats! sometimes very pricey
I've been visiting Faith for several years and although it did go through a stage of selling really terrible shoes, it's redeemed itself in recent months. Faith sells a massive variety of shoes, from the un-wearable stilletto to moon boots- it's pretty likely you'll find something that you like. There are often an array of different coloured shoes so this can be very handy if you are looking for something a little bit different, or something to match ... ...of shoes from Faith over the years and I know many people who also shop here. Unfortunately on a few occasions we have experienced problems with the shoes. For instance my heel came off, the zip on my sister's boots came away and the stitching on my Mum's boot came undone.
Despite this, we have successfully bought numerous pairs of shoes that did not break.
The prices can often be quite high ...

Advantages: Value for money, friendly atmosphere. Disadvantages: The distance from our home.
Usually I do my shopping online, faithfully using Tescos. This week I decided it was time for a change. I thought it's time to go out and do my shopping somewhere completely different. Morrisons I thought, haven't been there for years. So dragging my husband and child out to the car, we drove to our nearest Morrisons in Aylesbury. The shop was clean, friendly and had lots and lots of great deals, not on things you think oh I'll buy that because it's buy one get one free offers that you don't really need but hey it's a bargain you don't use and end up throwing away, but on most of the things I had gone there to buy they had money off offers and bogofs galore. My family was impressed, I was impressed and we shall now shop there every week. We loaded our shopping happily into our car and then went back into the shop and enjoyed ...

Advantages: Pensioners can save on home improvement goods Disadvantages: Not always the ones they want
I am a big fan of B&Q on the whole and do most of my DIY shopping there, but my faith was dented a little when my Grandfather needed some decorating done.
He asked me if i would take him to get a few bits that he needed on a Wednesday, as he gets his 10% discount and being a pensioner, money matters. We got to our local branch only to find that they did not stock the liquid sanding product or the colour of gloss he wanted, so i offered to take him to the B&Q warehouse, twelve miles away.
We arrived at the warehouse and found everything he needed straight away (they are well signed and well stocked stores), but at the till he was told that he could not use his discount card. Quite right, in very small print on the back of the cards it does say that B&Q warehouses are excluded, BUT WHY ???
It always raises my suspicions ...
