When you buy the auto reel you also receive 20m of top quality hose and all fittings, including wall-mounting bracket and fixings. It is very reliable and I have not encountered any problems with this although you might want to use better fixings than what it is supplied with as they are not very strong. Don't get me wrong it is good that you also receive the fixings it is just that there are much better ones on the market. A trip to somewhere like B&Q will give you the fixings that you need.
It is an extremely convenient product that allows you to rewind the hose by walking back to the drum. There is no hassle that you would normally have of rewinding the hose yourself.

I normally tend to write reviews on items I like, and recommend, but in this case I can't actually recommend these at all. The reason being, they do not last, being of steel construction, they rust very quicklly. The paint finish is poor, and the steel is not thick enough. They do tend to bend at the least provocation, and although the basic idea is sound, the materials are not good enough.
The design was copied from Firefighting Hosereels, where the hose could be ran out very quickly, the reel swinging out toward the fire, and making it up again was a doddle.. I would like to see a better quality version of these, that really would be something. All fittings are made from corrosion resistant brass, and the reel is supposed to hold some eighty feet of hose!
