Fake Bake is a tanning lotion which you can apply to your face and body. This is an advantage because you can apply it to your whole body without worrying if your face is pale and your body is tanned!
Application:
My personal advice for best results would be to exfoiliate well (using a exfoiliating glove) on parts such as elbows, neck and upper arms anywhere with dry skin so the tan doesn't go bumpy or uneven. Then moisturize well and after 5-10 minutes apply fake bake.
It's also advised that you apply fake bake before you go to sleep and then when you wake me up you wash the excess tan off your body. Alike St, Tropez, Fake bake takes around 5-6 hours to develop.
How dark does it tan? The colouring has never made me orange. The colouring is a lovely realistic deep golden brown tan. When I wanted a darker tan i would re apply fake bake for another night.
Price: I brought my fake bake from a ebay shop for £15.00. Prices do vary from shop to shop I also know you can buy fake bake from house of fraser. The price range can vary between £15.00 - £25.00.
How long does it last? I brought fake bake earlier this year and I'm still using it! There's a fair amount in my bottle. Don't be put off by the price of fake bake as it does last for a long time.
The lotion is a brown colour so i would recommend wearing gloves when applying because it can tan your hands. Fake bake also smells pleastantly and even after it dries it does. The lotion is also quite thick which is quite a job to rub in, however I've never had any streaks from this fake tan.
How long does the tan last? The tan lasts me several days.
Overall I love fake bake and after trying several other fake tans i love this one. Its's one of the most effective natural and golden looking tans ive ever tried.
