...came across this one. Falling For You by Jill Mansell. I've read a few of her books and decided to give this one a go at £3.73, it would keep me quiet for a wee while. Here we are introduced to Maddy Harvey. She lives in a small Village not far from Bath. She works in the local Deli, and seems to be right into Village life. Maddy could not have asked for a better "mum". Tradgedy struck the family again when Maddys sister April was run over by Den McKinnon. Disadvantages: very similar to other books written by the author but that's why i like these books.

Another fantastic read by Jill Mansell, I got so stuck into this book I could picture every Character in great detail. The people, the places and all that was going on. I read this book in 4 days unable to put it down but not wanting it to end and when it did end well I think there should be a sequal. ...I have read many books by Jill Mansell and I have to say that I would rate 'Making Your Mind Up', which is her latest one, as one of her best. If you are not familiar with Jill Mansell, I think I would say that her novels fall into the category of 'chic lit' although I'm never quite sure exactly what that is! My own definition tends to be light modern fiction. Well Jill Mansell seems incredibly good at this and all her novels are very accessible and easy to read. I think that one of the most important things that influence whether you enjoy the book are the characters - you have to like them and you have to care what happens to them (and I would say this is the same whether you are reading the greatest classic or the latest chic lit). I definitely liked most of the characters in this book. The plot also has to be believable... Read review
