I thought that The Litle Mermaid was a great film, actually one of my favourite Disney films. It's a classic - and the quality of the DVD is top notch. I had not seen this movie since I was about six years old and although the story is widely known, so the plot is unsurprising, it was entertaining and made me laugh, as well as sympathise for the characters. I thought the characters were original and amusing, my personal favourite being Flounder. ...
...and can guarentee entertainment. I highly recommend this film, it is also brill for families because the parents are not bored while the kid enjoys themself. Once again, Disney succeded in creating a film appealing to everyone. I can not see anything wrong with this film, except that it ends! ... Read review

Advantages: Great film for kids and adults alike
Disadvantages: None I can think of

The Incredibles is one of the many excellent offerings from Disney Pixar (creators of such great movies as Finding Nemo, Cars). I have to admit I've always been a fan of the wave of computer generated animations that have arisen in the last decade or so, but even more so because when I tire of endless Peppa Pig, Fifi and the Flowertots, Pocoyo, or other such pre-school animations that would drive even the most childish adult to the brink of insanity ...
...on a different level. The Incredibles is really the only feature length film Mia will really watch yet (but I look forward to the family filmfests as she gets older!). Therefore it is my new favourite! I've always enjoyed this movie, and with Cars being my prior favourite, I recently purchased the collector's edition box set containing both movies. Advantages: A beautifully aminated adventure through magic and romance.
Disadvantages: A girly film, maybe not the best for boys.

This wonderful, colourful amination is what every girl would describe as fairytale. Wonderful amination means the characters are lively, beautifully drawn and loveable. The brief story is, as everyone knows, about a young girl orphaned and left in the care of her wicked step-mother. ...midnight! After a wonderful night with her Prince, she looses her crystal slipper on the way out. Leaving her prince to search far and wide to find her.
