There are different music that correspond to each character playing in the level, which is quite relevant; perhaps Brian's soundtrack is slightly Pink Panther style? Gameplay -------------- In the game, you play as either Stewie, Brian or Peter Griffin through different levels of adventure. In order to advance you MUST complete each levels as specified. In general, the game itself is pretty playable; the environment and sound kinda keeps your attention :) Stewie's missions are mainly the classic jump-shoot style through the 3D environment, his weapons can be upgraded throughout his gameplay, but whether or not your weapons upgrade, you still just have to shoot at all your enemies until they disappear in a smoke (poof!) Brian mainly has the hide and seek jobs through Police Stations to get evidence of who impregnated Seabreeze LOL. For those missions you basically hide in the corners or fallen books that they provide you with, shield yourself from view with a lampshade, and avoid anybody that walks past in a common pattern. Peter's levels involves you to do a lot, and i mean A LOT, of button-bashing. Personally, I found Peter Griffin's levels one of the hardest to get used to due to its special combo moves not doing much even when your fingers are aching from the multiple buttons I bash on yet Peter is only throwing a punch at Old Man Herbert. This is really where it did it for me to sell it in the end; the frustrating controls and relatively long learning curve in order to learn Peter's moves could have you at your wit's end.
Graphics / Sound ------------------------ Graphics. Graphics. Graphics. It's actually very pleasant to look at, besides some of the slightly blocky look on the occasional character, but otherwise, the characters are looking pretty much like their usual selves from the TV show. Freakin' Sweet ! The audio itself is just as good as the sound is originally voiced by the original Family Guy characters from the TV show. There are different music that correspond to each character playing in the level, which is quite relevant; perhaps Brian's soundtrack is slightly Pink Panther style? But other than that, this is the sort of graphics and soundtrack that you would probably expect is Seth MacFarlane wanted to create an original Family Guy game.
Technicality ---------------- Only autosave is available in the game, which is annoying because when you button-bash with Peter, at times it's quite difficult to get past a certain point before your next checkpoint. So it takes you a couple of times (or more...) to complete certain areas, otherwise you will get swooped back to the last checkpoint to start again. Frustrated? I was. If you're not comfortable with the default controls that the game has set, there are other options for you to choose from, but that doesn't change anything about the sensitivity of the buttons that corresponds with Peter's moves! Other minor problems include the trouble with controlling Stewie's jumps properly and usually causes you to fall to the bottom after you spent so much effort to get to the top because the controls are so...slippery. (I blame the analog stick I tell you...T_T) Oh, I almost forgot to mention, there's no difficulty setting either. Bummer.
To sum it up, this game is a true disappointment for any hardcore Family Guy fans that love gaming, but it is still a good game to go back after a couple of weeks just for the jokes.

...on PSP, Xbox and PS2, Family Guy the game makes you laugh hard 'til you squirt milk from your nose.... ....then it makes you frustrated.
Don't get me wrong it's fairly enjoyable and I love Family Guy. Yet there seems to be too many spots where you get stuck in the same area for a few hours trying to sneak past other characters as Brian or master a button bashing technique with Peter. This is forgivable though as the comical element of this title ... ...broken. In the case of family guy PSP the overall playability is generally quite good; however it's not without its flaws.
You play through single storylines as Stewie, Brian & Peter taking it in turns to complete their individual part to the story. Basically with Stewie you jump and shoot through 3D platform style levels. Brian's game is more hide and sneak whilst collecting items, leaving Brain's section to handle the button bashing portion of ...

This is a great bit of kit. Crystal clear screen, chic design. I couldnt ask for more. I got mine in white. I love everything you can do on this. I can surf the web, and save pictures i find. and can add music, videos and pictures from your computer or ps3 if you have one. The range of games for this console is huge and diverse. i can easily find the game for me.
Another thing i love about this is that you can by UMD movies. i recently watched familyguy on it and i was very impressed with the sound quality and smoothness of play. you can also hook your psp up to your tv via a cable and view all your content on your tv. It is very impressive.
I would give this product 9 out of ten because updates are always coming out to improve your experience!
Well done Sony! ...
The first video game based on the hugely popular Family Guy TV show the Family Guy game will feature the same outrageous humor all the fans know and love. Play through three stories that intersect in typical Family Guy fashion. Be Stewie and match wits against his arch-nemesis half-brother Bertram as they vie to take over the world. Take control of Peter and fight to stop Mr. Belvedere who he thinks is trying to take over the world. Slip on a collar and down a martini as Brian and attempt to escape prison and prove your innocence in a puppy parental case gone awry.
