Wii is one of the greatest games consoles that I have ever purchased and I absolutely love all of the games that I have played on it to date.
Wii Family Ski is a game that up to five people can play and requires the Wii Fit to be able to play. It took me a while to find the Wii Fit or as it is also known the balance board but I kept on searching and got there in the end.
Wii Family Ski lets you create a character from scratch or you can import your Mii character too whilst selecting different ski gear for your character. You need to use the Nunchuck and Remote in your hands to use as ski poles and step on the Wii Board to really take advantage of this great game. The Wii Board takes over to allow the player to turn whilst skiing by measuring the swaying and leaning of the body.

Overall, I'm impressed it is obviously not the same as skiing down a mountain, but it's as close as you're likely to get without leaving your living room. This is a great multiplayer game, the only downfall is that you cannot compete directly against other players, but I appreciate that you cannot have 4 Wii Balance boards in the front room.
The game is responsive to movement on the balance board and make is an enjoyable game. This game has great effects like hearing the ice as you travel over it and tannoy announcements all add to the experience as if you were really skiing in a race.
The graphics are good as I was not expecting the best graphics as this game has so much more to offer and has so much going on, I'm very happy to say this game is well worth the £30 I paid for it and has given me and my family hours of fun playing on it, its suitable for people of all ages.
Advantages: Great Fun, For all the family, Don't have to have Balance Board Disadvantages: No Online
Now that the game has come out and i have had the chance to play it it is simplee great fun. Especially if you have the wii board bu this is not a neccessity.
The game is simply brilliant, not to challenging or a big game, but just great fun. You can incorporate this game with the Wii Fit Board to pretend like you are actually skiing (by putting more pressure on one foot to turn like you would on the slopes) or you can simply you the wiimote and ... ...can compete in different events like over 14 different courses and different difficulties. Besides this there is a ski school mode to help you learn to ski, Centipede races, and a Search and Rescue mode. Along with this there is also lots of people on the slopes with add-on missions and tasks to do (e.g. finding their missing kids), as well as simply being up for a race.
There is also a multiplayer mode where you can compete with up to 4 of your ...

Advantages: Fun, good exercise factor, easy to use Disadvantages: addictive
of with my BMI and was pleased to see i was an ideal weight for my height and age. I then got a Wii fit age which wasn't too good, so i thought i'd better try out the exercises to bring my age down a few years (or 10). The first exercise i did was under the aerobic section and was jogging. It was amazing as all i did was hold the remote in one hand and jog on the spot. I could could really feel the burn in my legs afterwards. I've had the Wii fit since christmas and i can truely say it was one of the most worthwhile products i have received. Not only is the board lightweight and easy to carry, but its white exterior means it looks good in most lounges and can also have non slip covers bought for extra safety. The board isn't just limited to Wii fit either as it can be used for other games such as skate it and familyski. Retailing at around £80 it ...

Advantages: Balance board a great device, entertaining games for all, physical activity. Disadvantages: Wii Fit age a little suspect, balance board not for sitting on!
the advanced step class in which I can step, kick and side-step to my hearts content. A wasted of youth of badly choreographed eighties dancing seems to have finally paid off as I remain top of the leader board. All these games are great calorie burners and good for cardio and you will sweat a fair bit.
However, the most used section of our Wii Fit is certainly the balance games which are perfect for all the family. Skiing, heading competitions and a weird marble puzzle game are just a few of the addictive games on offer here and these are far less strenuous than anything else on offer. These games emphasise skill and patience and accuracy as your subtle movements determine what happens on screen and our four children certainly spend a hell of a long time in here.
I love the whole positive re-enforcement of the Wii Fit as it rewards you ...

Advantages: fun workouts in your own home Disadvantages: none that I can think of!
. the basic is following the moves that the miis make stepping on and off the board in various directions, the advanced adds different moves and is faster. Free step is excellent. The wii will beep to tell you when to step on and off the board. the remote tells you how many steps you are doing and you can do this whilst watching another channel! The boxing is also good fun. You need a nunchuk controller for this as well as the traditional remote. you then complete a series of routines punching the bag.
The last section is the balance section which is deisgned to help omprove posture and balance. Here you have ski jump, ski slamon, snowboarding, rope walking and bubble river to name a few.
We now use the wii fit as a family and I have to say I love it. It was definately worth the wait! ...
