Advantages Advantages Fairly refreshing, doesn't need to be very cool to be drinkable

Disadvantages Disadvantages Will be a little too sweet for some, not the best orange soft drink out there

How was it created and why is it called Fanta? A German chemist called Schetelig created Fanta in 1940 during World War ll in Germany, for the German Coca-Cola bottling company in Essen. However, because of wartime restrictions on shipping between Germany and United States, they were not able to get Coca-Cola syrup. Max Keith, the CEO of the plant needed a product to keep the plant in operation and came up with a fruit flavoured drink made from available ingredients. Using apple fiber remaining from cider pressing and whey, a byproduct from cheese manufacture, Fanta was created and became ... more

Fanta Orange…. Most people would be familiar with the fizzy pop drink "Fanta". Nowadays it is available in more than just the orange flavour that was originally brought out now you are able to buy it in fruit twist, lemon and the zero flavours as well. Fanta is available in many different formats such as cans 330ml, small bottles 500ml or 2 litre bottles. Cans however are becoming few and far between it appears as the companies try to encourage the purchase of plastic bottled drinks which although hold slightly more of the pop inside, are quite a bit more expensive than the cans of old ... more

Fanta Orange That craving of something sweet came back to me a few weeks ago during a boring night infront of the TV. Usually I would have my tea around the time of 6 o' clock, but I wasn't in the mood for eating that night. My throat was dry and it was just begging for something to clench the thirst, my throat could have defined the word " Dessertification ". I grabbed my coat and slipped on my shoes and headed out to my local TESCO... As I was walking towards the shop, my mind began to fill with the images of what I was going to buy. I suddenly thought " Peach Squash " which is my favourite ... more
