super-heroic scores for movies such as Superman Returns, X2: X-Men United and two Fantastic Four installments, including this one. Being a sequel, Rise of the Silver Surfer reintroduces some themes from its predecessor (as on "Botched Heroics"). The main new development, of course, is associated with the titular hero, and it starts off the CD. Appropriately, considering Silver Surfer's conflicted nature, a moody undercurrent courses through the track, even when it finally gets to soar. New villain Galactus is a big ol' cosmic cloud of evil; appropriately again, his theme ("Galactus Destroys/Opening") is distinguished by a certain synthetic, low-end fuzziness. Overall, the CD is relatively low key for a big summer action movie. The suspense/action cues don't pummel your eardrums; a track like "Sibling Switch" brings to mind the classicism of Bernard Herrman circa Psycho, while the use of the choir of "Four in One" isn't that different from what you could hear in 1960s sword-and-sandals epics. This relative restraint may frustrate those who enjoy contemporary bombast, but it will be a pleasant surprise for fans of a more restrained approach. --Elisabeth Vincentelli

...The Microsoft XBOX360 is a fantastic console, and that comes from experience!
Having been bought the 360 as a gift at christmas, I find the XBOX360 enjoyable
The XBOX360 boasts a standard 20GB hardrive, which can be easily ugrapded,if the user wishes to.
The XBOX360 also boasts a great online service, XBOX Live, which is free (silver) and can be again, upgraded to a premium service.
The only downside to the XBOX360 , is, when you first set up the product, the internal fan does seem rather loud. However, it only took me a few days to get used to the noise- now I hardly even realise the fan is operating .
The XBOX360 is also great graphics wise, as it an HD compatible console...

Advantages: Sound is well ported from the console versions Disadvantages: Gameplay errors, poor frame rate, buggy level designs and no replay value.
...Hi and today I wil be reviewing: FantasticFour: Rise of the SilverSurfer for the Nintendo DS.
well when i bought this game for £20 at Thatz Entertainment in Lakeside shopping centre I thought FANTASTIC.
But once i booted it up i saw bland 2d graphics that look like a rejected GBA game along with gameplay mechanics that were so terribly done that I cried. The game is a side-scrolling action platformer where each level follows one of the fourFantastic 4 characters but I think every level that is played gives the gamer stiff and rigid gameplay. The 2D engine is very slow at times even sometimes causing huge frame rate drops during gameplay.
The only bonus of the game is that is carries the great music of the console version but then again it gains no exclusive content.
If you have watched the movie or heard of this game then I...

well not much that can be said about a faceplate but i have to say it does make your Xbox 360 look rather cool and quite unique compared to your mates. its an official made product from the Microsoft team so no need to worry bout the color flaking off or more
