In The Realm Of The Wolf
Review of Waylander II: in the Realm of the Wolf - David Gemmell by
Andy.mack
Advantages: An excellent story, perhaps better than the first
Disadvantages: None
...left his former life as Waylander the slayer behind to be a woodsman and family man. The death of his wife hit him hard but he has continued to look after his two daughters. Some however do not believe he has left his former life behind and want to make sure that Waylander can never rise again. A group of the worlds most deadly assassins are hunting Dakeyras as someone is worried what he may be capable of should he find out what has happened since ... ...The return of Waylander to Gemmell's Drenai series is an incredibly welcome one. I've been slowly working my way through this series and Waylander is quite clearly the best character Gemmell has come up with to date. The character has everything about him that makes an engrossing story. He is in a way an Anti hero as he fights his way through the lands of the Nadir and despite all adversity still seems to be able to rise to any challenge.

One of the greatest books of all time
Review of Magician - Raymond E. Feist by
molebert
Advantages: Well Written, Empathetic characters, Epic storyline
Disadvantages: Long, slow build up
This book easily ranks among the greatest fantasy books of all time, and as a testiment to this, I have already read this book at least five times already, with plans to do so again in the not to distant future.
The easy writing style used by Raymond E. Feist not only transports you into the twin worlds of Kelewan and Midkemia, but grabs and maintains your interest throughout what is an epic story. I found I connected and empathised easily with ... ...characters were well defined and written. The world created within these pages is well defined and described, and even though it follows many generic fantasy stereotypes, the characters, story and depth of information combine to exceed the generic fare offered by many within this genre.
Although Raymond E. Feist wrote several sequels and prequels, and although some are quite good, this book should always be considered the best of them. ...

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Review of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Book 7) - J. K. Rowling by
maggie_rose123
Advantages: Lots of twist and turns, very clever.
Disadvantages: Harry just cant keep on winning
...but i think that fact harry just keeps on winning against voldemort is a little unbelievable, as voldemort is a very advanced wizard, but then again it is a book about wizards, how believable can it be. I thought the wrighting was fantastic and it was very cleverly done! I also think the books are so good that i could start over and read them all again! If there is anyone think of reading them, then i would say that it is worth the time, they will ...
