The book that almost got started!

Advantages: A solid start, and the vivacious Violet.
Disadvantages: Never really got going, some uncomfortable "almost" rape scenes.

Sword? Sexy Girl? Horse? Ale? right lets go!

Advantages: Swashbuckling heroic cheesy fun, fluid reading at times, its Conan NOT Arnold!
Disadvantages: Politically incorrect in parts, though not a major fault it does dampen it somewhat.

Conan the Cimmerian? … Conan the Barbarian? … Conan the Austrian bodybuilder? Whatever springs into your head when you think of Conan, these books are where it all began. He was immortalised in the two films where he was played by Arnold Schwarzenegge ...

Advantages: Engaging, magic and generally thriling...you could get lost in it easily
Disadvantages: None really to be honest.
