Advantages Realism, Cool weapons, Immersive.

Disadvantages Can get quite boring after a while, Poor Multiplayer.

I was expecting awesomeness when I bought Far Cry 2..

I was partly impressed with the realism (gun jamming, fire spreading, self healing), but the rest was not so good.

The story is pretty immersive, You play as one of the characters from a selection, the landscape is set in a war torn Africa, Your mission is to kill the 'Jackal' who armed both sides and basically started the war.

But.. there is a catch.
You catch Malaria, and of course this interferes with your everyday life as you need to take pills often and keep stocking up.

The graphics in this game are pretty 'wow', the sun is probably one of the best features, just sitting on top of a hill watching the sun rise through the trees is a wonderful experience, also, sneaking through the bushes to try and hunt wildlife with your machete is great fun!

Most of the missions involve getting intel and finding diamonds, which are used to buy new weapons, which is good.

My favorite weapon is the Flamethrower :P

I would give this game a 7/10,
The story is quite cool, the graphics are nice but it does get quite repetitive, just sneaking through bushes, you could always try and shoot at the enemies with your dart gun or sniper rifle though ^^

There is a multiplayer mode, but it is average. But basically you get the basic gamemodes, Team Deathmatch and stuff like that, which you can use other peoples custom made maps to play on. I won't go into detail, as it is quite poor.
