Advantages: Brilliant machine, so many features
Disadvantages: Not as cheap as a Wii (but that's it!)

...The Xbox 360 is a brilliant nextgen gaming machine. It has tonnes of quality titles, both exclusive and multi platform. For the money it is by far the best purchase out of the '3' (Wii & Playstation 3). You get the brilliant Xbox Live to share your gaming experience with your friends and is so diverse you can rent movies and even download demos or trailers all from the comfort of your console. Gears of War is so good it is worth the purchase on its own and with other quality titles such as: Halo 3 & Mass Effect there really should be no choice about the console choice for you. ...Basically i have recently purchased an XBOX 360 after a tought decision between the XBOX and the new Nintendo Wii. I am extremely glad i went with this console as it is superb in every aspect. Not only does it have brilliant graphics for every game designed the games themselves are so much better than anything you have ever played before. Where with some of the old consoles the in game camera follows the player restricting the gameplay view, the controller on the XBOX 360 has a joystick for movement of the character and another for movement of the camera. This is so beneficial for most games especially my favourite, Call of duty 2 as it gives you a 360 degree view of everything in game (hence XBOX 360). ...microsoft supply package deals that you can buy that comes with a carry case if you wish to travel with your 360. In the box that the console comes in, you get the basic controller the console it self, a remote control, a A-V adapter and the wires to be able to connect it to your tv. The remote control is used for when watchin dvds on the 360 to control your menu screen and the usual options. Overall the xbox 360 is a great success i belive and is a gamers dream console as it can do anything that you could hope for in a console and so far i have had no trouble with my 360, but i belive that microsoft would be very helpful in repairs and maintanence of anyone of their consoles....
