Recently opened Farmfoods freezer food store has just opened next to the Lidl store. This is great for the low cost shopping trip if you don't just want frozen food.
Farmfoods do have low priced own make items but they are also mixed in with products from the more well known brands like; Ross, BirdsEye, and Chicago Town (pizzas).
The familiar products are priced competively as the store is only half a mile from my Tesco. I occasianally try the 'own-make' products and some of them are quite nice.
The prices are cycled every couple of weeks so something may be cheaper in a couple of weeks. I always pop in every couple of weeks to see what's on offer.
