Advantages: Its quite interesting to write Disadvantages: Its quite personal
This is my first poem, please be gentle lol:
FATBOY
I’ve tried all those diets
Honest I have
I had pills and done sit-ups
Even puked in the lav
People point and they laugh
Even push me and prod
“Look at the size of that ugly fat slob”
My friends are the worst
They fill me with shame
They call me the Fatboy
Never my name
Its easy to judge
To look on and laugh
But try being the Fatboy
Its no walk in the park
So what if I’m fat
What’s it to you
I’m a human being
You are one too
Yet tease and taunt me
Like kids at the Zoo
They wear designer labels
I have one too
My label is Fatboy
Or Mr Fatboy to you.
Its easy to judge
To look on and laugh
But try being the Fatboy
Its no walk in the park
When will it end
Will I ever succeed
My feelings are hurt
Maybe its food ...

Advantages: Its nice to see Fatboy slim going back to his roots again Disadvantages: Like any album some of the tracks just seem like space fillers
Fatboy Slim was great in the late 90's with his dance tracks and samples and silly loops, but that was then. Even the House music age is over, and Norman Cook has recognized this and has put together a great new collection of just plain music. The rhymes and singing of Lateef, Damon Albarn and Fatboy-alum Bootsy Collins fit right in with the hip-hop, laid-back feel of this album. My favorites include: "Don't Let The Man Get You Down" (featuring a little old school sampling and looping), "Wonderful Night" (with Lateef on Vocals), "Mi Bebe Masoquista" (Great beat), "North West Three" (good song to just chill to, much like the entire album), and "The Journey" (again with Lateef).
This album is great for Fatboy Slim fans looking for something different and who are ready to progress with the times. If you're looking for more "Rockafeller ...
I HAVE NEVER REALLY BEEN A BIG FAN OF THE LATEST DANCE MUSIC BUT I THOUGHT THAT I WOULD BUY THIS ALBUM AS IT WAS ON OFFER AT THE TIME AND I HAD ENJOYED SOME OF THE MUSIC THAT I HAD HEARD FROM FATBOY SLIM SO I THOUGHT I WOULD GIVE IT A TRY. I WAS PLEASANLY SUPRISED. EACH TRACK IS VERY LONG WHICH MEANS THAT IT REALLY IS GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY. EACH TRACK IS COMPLETLEY DIFFERENT AND I FOUBD THAT I COULD RECOGNISE MANY OF THE TRACKS. THE ALBUM CONTAINS ALOT OF THE CLASSIC HITS FOR EXAMPLE ROCKAFELLA SKUNK. I WOULD SAY HOWEVEER THAT THIS ALBUM WILL ONLY APPEAL TO A CERTAIN RANGE OF AUDIENCE. I HAVE NOW BEEN TEMPTED TO BUY OTHER PRODUCTS FROM THE FATBOY SLIM RANGE. ...
