A Spooky Tale From Joanne Harris

Advantages: Great Gothic Tale
Disadvantages: May be a bit melodramtic for some readers

the grounds. At the back of the gardens Alice spots two trees shadowing a grave and intrigued she goes to investigate. Although there is no headstone on the grave there is a slab with the words 'Something Inside Me Remembers And Will Not Forget'. Although this sounds quite ominous Alice is intrigued although she can't say why. On further investigation she see's the name of the person buried is Rosemary Virginia Ashley (? - August 1948) and finds a metal tag hidden under the leaves. On it there is the inscription 'Rosemary for Remembrance' and she takes it home without thinking of the implications this is to have on her life. Later that evening Alice gets a call out of the blue from Joe supposedly just for a chat but also to introduce Alice to his new girlfriend Ginny. Alice is a little surprised at this but as she feels this is a way to clear ...
