On behalf of my two lovelylittle bengal kittens I can say that they seem to like this food. I think it is a decent product for the price however I would not feed my cats with it as a main diet... more

Advantages Advantages Willow and Tabitha love it and it makes them happy and purry :)

Disadvantages Disadvantages expensive compared to lesser branded food

For this review I decided that I should go to the experts to get their opinion of the product. Now I have to admit that Douglas Adams didn’t foresee one problem with his universal translation machine… the fact that trying to stuff a Babel fish into a cats ear so it can understand you is a real problem because all they want to do is try and eat the fish while you are attempting to stick it in place. Though I guess that this is a problem that I should have thought of beforehand as Willow did manage to get one of the fish first. Now then first off I shall introduce you to Willow and Tabitha, my ... more

Advantages Advantages Great food for fish crazy cats.

Disadvantages Disadvantages takes a little while to adapt to the smell.

My best friend went on holiday a few months ago and needed someone to look after her 1 year old cat which she treats like her child. I automatically offered up my services and told her she could bring her here and I would look after her here as I don't drive and couldn't get myself over to her house. She brought over her cat, Lola and some food for the two weeks she would be away. I cannot stand the smell of cat food. I had a cat for the first 15 years of my life and could detest opening the fridge to see an open tin of smelly cat food in the door. Even with a lid on it, It still managed to ... more

    Advantages Advantages large variety

Disadvantages Disadvantages all look the same

My cat is called Prince. He is handsome little chap and deserves to be spoiled. He loves fish more than anything so more often than not I will choose a fish selection pack for him to enjoy. Occasionally I do mix it up and he gets to experience flavours such as duck and beef but he seems to prefer the fish ones the best. I serve Prince a diet of dry biscuits and wet food. I prefer this combination because dry food alone makes him constipated and wet food alone makes him a bit too ‘loose.’ The felix fish selection is perfect for Prince as one pouch a day with biscuits is enough for him. I open ... more

Advantages Advantages small chunks of food

Disadvantages Disadvantages A 14 pack would suit us better as we only do a week shop and this only lasts 6 days

I buy a different selection of cat food every time I go shopping as variety is the spice of life. Jasper is not much of a fussy eater, he certainly prefers human food over cat food but it is not often that he leaves an empty bowl after his meal. My husband feeds him a pouch of food in the morning, I feed him one on an evening and during the day he has crunchies and water to eat and drink at leisure. Occassionally he gets spoiled with treats too so all in all he is a well fed cat. As much as I buy different brands of food, I really do not spend long in the cat food aisle dwelling over which one ... more

3 Stars Junk food for cats Review with images 23/07/2012

    Advantages Advantages cheap, readily available

    Disadvantages Disadvantages low quality ingredients

When I first brought home my cat, Shadow, 5 years ago I was happy to feed him Whiskas, Felix and other supermarket cat food believing that they were high quality. I have since learned more about pet food and learned that Felix is actually a pretty low quality junk food for cats. Even though I do have some misgivings about the quality of Felix, it is still a brand I feed to my cats on occasion. I live in the middle of nowhere and thus miles from my nearest pet shop and when I run out of cat food Felix is readily available from the local shops. It generally costs around £3.50 for a box of 12 ... more
