For just over a tenner its a winner. This CD wallet is easy to use inside of a moving vehicle because it is thin, zips and unzips easily, and the CDs slide in nicely from the top. The back material is not plastic, but some kind of soft woven material that will not scratch your CDs. I compared this at a store with some of the cheaper Cdprojects one that had some kind of plastic bumpy material on the back of the sleeves. Advantages: All your music in one place
Disadvantages: That place is a computer

...I like stuff, by which I mean that I mostly prefer to spend my money on something tangible than, say, extended warranties, a few square metres of the moon, or a music download. In the latter case, I would invariably transfer the computer file to a CD, so I could play it on the Hi-Fi and enjoy it at the right quality, and in the most comfortable surroundings. Indeed, despite persistent forecasts (especially in the computer press) of the end of traditional means of music distribution (and plenty of panic by the industry) the fact remains that CD sales have held up remarkably well, so presumably quite a few people share my preferences. There is, after all, something nice about the packaging and sleeve notes, even though these are nothing like as classy as they were in the days of LP's. Advantages: Quick, easy to use, easy sync of Microsoft programs
Disadvantages: No support for non-Microsoft software, crashing, battery life, user manual... what manual

...for is the memory. 32Mb. Not bad for something so small, but when it runs out, the trouble starts. You may find that the PC software crashes, or if you're unlucky the iPAQ will crash. If the iPAQ crashes, then you have to switch off the battery an say goodbye to all of your personal data and settings - the files transferred over can usually be recovered. If you decide to upgrade to 64Mb, then you'll need a plug in module which connects by sliding a sleeve over the device, which makes it look big and cheap. It wont fit in its wallet with the extra memory either. If you want something to store a few contacts and files from your PC-based Microsoft applications, then you'll love the iPAQ. You'll find it so easy to use. If you want to synchronise non-Microsoft applications then you may find yourself with problems. My company will carry on using the i... Read review
