We have recently had a spending spree at work and we ended up buying one of these monitors covers for one of the pc's in the office.

As I work for my Local Government body, we have to spend our entire budget as if we don't, the next financial year we will get our budget cut! I wouldn't normally buy a cover but we had to spend the money and it is a useful thing to have.

Fellowes is one of our main suppliers of computer equipment and they are always really good on price. There are many suppliers who make and sell these covers now and you can get them off the shelf at PC World and other computer shops.

The cover is made from a plastic material and has thick bound edges, which makes it feel really durable and strong. It's clear in colour, so if you wanted, you could keep the cover on all day to protect the monitor.

The cover keeps the monitor clean and dust free. There was simple instructions that came with the cover and it said that the cover should be washed every 6 months and you just wash it will warm soapy water.
The cover would be really useful if you where working in an office in a dirty place such as a factory or workshop where there would be loads of dust in the air.
------------------------------------------- What monitor is it suitable for? -------------------------------------------
This cover is only suitable for flat screen monitors, the slim kind as its not very wide. The cover slips easily over the monitor and fully covers it. Fellowes also make other kinds of monitor covers to suit the larger monitors that are bigger and wider.
I would recommend buying a monitor cover for anyone that works in a dusty environment or is decorating and can't move the computer from its position.
This cost £11.00 from Fellowes but we get a discount.
