...08, my doctor prescribed me Yasmin in April 2008. A few days after the beginning of my 2nd month (June) I developed a sore swollen leg. I was diagnosed with a severe ileo femeral DVT in my right leg, going from my knee to my chest, i had a localized clot in my other thigh and a PE to the lung. ...that it was the Pill that was the cause of my clot.Thanks to this pill and the clots that followed, I am now on Warfarin for life, and the prospect hanging over me of having no more children due to the severity. I also have a filter fitted. Please please have a full check up before getting this pill prescribed. I would not wish what I went thru on my worst enemy.. ...

the implant Is it still effective after 2 years instead of 3

Advantages: very effective,esaygoing regarding remembering contraception
Disadvantages: i fell pregnant after it had been in 2 years

...the needle beforehand)! Once the implanon was inserted it felt rather strange for a day or two but healed up fine with no bruising or pain. The implanon has been highly effective as a form of contraception for me especially as I do not need to worry about remembering to use contraception (especially as I am in a long term relationship. 8 years on cerazette

Advantages: No periods for 8 years (fantasic!)
Disadvantages: Depression, 4 stones weight gain, mood swings, greasy hair, tiredness, zero libido.

Advantages: What true advantages??
Disadvantages: I believe that this product has been a major contributor to my wife's breast cancer.

My experience with this poison is that my wife took this pill for 15 to 20 years,,she developed breast cancer around two years ago, the most aggressive form,, my wife became severely ill during the first Chemotherapy session as well as a Mastectomy of her right breast, then around 18 months later, the cancer had come back, it went through her Lymphatic system and subsequently spread to all parts of her body,,which led to more Chemotherapy, which ...

No Pain No Gain This ones not for the men

Advantages: The end result was worth it no monthly periods
Disadvantages: There is some discomfort involved

I wasn't worried at all about having a fitted as all i had heard at most, at the time, was that some people hadn't gotten on very well with it.
