is cilest better or worse than any other type of pill?

Advantages: No pregnancy, clear skin, easy to take
Disadvantages: Feeling sick, unnatural, hormonal (irrational)

...put on tons of weight. Cilest is supposed to be good for your skin so thats why I take it (and not to get pregnant of course!) but now I'm a little worried after reading all the reviews. I cant explain the sickness unless its my body getting used to the hormones. I wasnt on any contraception for 6months & felt great but now I want to be 100% sure I cant get pregnant & am wondering if this is the price to pay?? Should I just persevere? xx ...

Not so marvellous..!

Advantages: Regular periods, and of course, still no kids
Disadvantages: nausea, mood swings, migraines

...those until I started taking Marvelon - a day, sometimes two taken out of my life. On the other hand though, they have kept my periods VERY regular, almost to an hour each month, and are a easy way of moving your period for example for holidays - something I miss a lot, being on the POP. It's an OK pill, if you are willing to put up with some side effects. I know people (eg my mum) who have been on it for 20-odd years and have felt perfectly fine. ...

My experience with Implanon, the implant.

Advantages: don't have to take a pill everyday, light to no periods, change every 3 years, very cheap
Disadvantages: may cause irregular bleeding or aggravate acne

...I decided with my doctor Implanon was the answer, as I didn't have to take any pills or do anything! Yay just what I wanted. I bought the Implanon from a chemist for $5. (concession discount) All you need is a prescription from your doctor and if you don't have concession I think it's around $35. The rod itself is very small like a matchstick but it's inside this metal big needle thingy obviously used to put it into your arm.. I went to my doctors ...

Cerazette Almost Ruined My Life

Advantages: Clear skin
Disadvantages: Weight gain, violent mood swings, spotting, impatient, stressed & on edge whole time

I was on Cerazette two years ago and had bad experiences. Doctor urged me to give it another try so have been taking it past two months. Same thing happened again. I became another person. Violent mood swings.....shouting at my kids for petty things......NO SEX DRIVE whatsoever. Almost finished my relationship as I couldn't bear to be touched and almost felt like I hated him for no reason. I put on weight as constantly hungry. Would start bleeding ...

Research before you take!

Advantages: not pregnant
Disadvantages: sickness, period pains, heavy period, worsen acne more painful, feeling low............

I was put on marvelon as dianette mad me sick. I was also put on this because i had a little adult acne THIS MADE IT WORSE and it didnt get rid of the sickness either! The whole time i was on this i had period pains and when i actually got my period it felt even worse and my perod was heavy.
