great pill for those not prone to acne...

Advantages: Minimal Weight Gain, Larger Breasts, No Mood Swings

...The only drawback from Yasmin was the acne breakouts. I loved this pill and the fact that it made me slightly more curvacious, but not too heavy. I had acne breakouts with all the other pills also except for Dianette, however it made me feel suicidal, which was awful considering I was quite a happy, bubbly person at the time I began taking it. All in all, out of all the pills i've had so far Cerazette, Dianette, Microgynon 30...Yasmin has been the best, however, I would not recommend it to those of you who are acne prone before taking it, however, it can clear up skin for some people, unfortunately I didn't get this end of it. ...

Cerazette Almost Ruined My Life

Advantages: Clear skin
Disadvantages: Weight gain, violent mood swings, spotting, impatient, stressed & on edge whole time

I was on Cerazette two years ago and had bad experiences. Doctor urged me to give it another try so have been taking it past two months. Same thing happened again. I became another person. Violent mood swings.....shouting at my kids for petty things......NO SEX DRIVE whatsoever. Almost finished my relationship as I couldn't bear to be touched and almost felt like I hated him for no reason. I put on weight as constantly hungry. Would start bleeding ...
...it is this pill. Stopped four days ago and have been taking B Vitamin complex tablets. Feel so much better already. Can't believe I even took it again after last time. I know that not everybody will have these side effects but for me it almost ruined my life. I now have to find a contraceptive that agrees with me. ...

Review of Cerazette Contraceptive Pill

Microgynon - My horrible three years.

Advantages: It stopped me from getting pregnant, it is an easy method of contraception
Disadvantages: Extreme mood swings, lack of motivation, increase of migranes, depression.

I began taking this pill when I was 18 as I went to the doctors to get on the pill. I wasn't aware at the time that there were so many different kinds of combined pill. I found the pill very easy to use and took it religiously, every day at the same time, without fail. (Which is the best way to get its full effectiveness). I continued on this pill for three years, over the three years my asthma worsened severely, I had never had an asthma attack ...

Inproves Skin But Has Bad Side Effects!

Advantages: Clear Skin, Regular Periods,
Disadvantages: Bad Moods, Feeling Very Down At Times, Heavy Periods, Bad Headaches, Dangerous

I was on the dianette pill for about 2years i thought it would be the best option for me as i used to get bad skin at times. The best thing about this pill is that it improved my skin alot i would only get the odd 2or3 spots every now and again but who doesnt? Not so marvellous..!

Advantages: Regular periods, and of course, still no kids
Disadvantages: nausea, mood swings, migraines

...those until I started taking Marvelon - a day, sometimes two taken out of my life. On the other hand though, they have kept my periods VERY regular, almost to an hour each month, and are a easy way of moving your period for example for holidays - something I miss a lot, being on the POP.
