I own one of these, it's colour is Sunburst Red and it's made in Mexico. I payed £400 in 2007. I absolutely love it and treasure it, the fretboard is smooth and the frets aren't too large. It has such a smooth sound and suits the blues/ jazz player. You could imagine yourself playing in a Mexican sunset. The tones are crystal clear and the overall sound quality is good. I use it in a 60 watt Fender amp and it suits the guitar. I opted for this model instead of the Standard Stratocaster which was cheaper but I didn't think it was as good. Any Stratocaster is a great buy at a good price. It looks great in red and has 21 frets. The screw-in string keys are quite tricky to use to start with but it gets easier! I use it in my own music. It is light and well made.
