The Fender Jazzmaster has an Offset waist body, which is thought to help balance when playing. The guitar also features two specially designed P90 style pickups, these give the guitar a warm sound, as if a Stratocaster and a Les Paul combined. The Rhythm Circuit gives the guitarist the option of switching tones at the flick of a switch. For example, if you were playing the rhythm section of a song and then suddenly had to change to a treblier sound for a solo, you could start with the Rhythm Circuit on, and then switch it off. This can be used to get a cut off switch effect like on a Gibson. Another of the guitar's notable features is the Tremolo Lock, which prevents the guitar going out of tune when a string breaks, by going back to a preset setting. The neck is a standard Rosewood on Maple Stratocaster neck, which helps give the guitar it's signature warm sound.
