Fender Deluxe Nashville Telecaster

Advantages: Amazing value for money!
Disadvantages: None, unless you want a guitar with a tremolo arm.

I bought my cherry red 2005 Nashville Tele from a New Jersey guitar dealer because it looked like a bargain - second hand, but new condition. It cost $389. After paying for postage and import duty, it cost me about £340 overall. This is the best value for money guitar I have ever bought! The finish is superb quality, and it looks every inch as good as any of the USA models. Telecaster purists may not like the individual bridge segments for each string, but they work better than the old style bridge in my opinion, and the machine heads work well with a good feel. Playability is superb - the intonation is excellent. The guitar is the best playing Telecaster I have ever encountered, with a fast action and good string spacing. Tonal variation is extremely wide. There is a 5 position switch fitted. Positions 1, 3, and 5 select ...

Advantages: Great sounding and playing guitar by the masters!
Disadvantages: There are none

Pauls.' It was like entering an Aladdin's cave for me really. Then I saw the Fender?! it was an acoustic and it was hanging there saying 'Play me, Borg, play me.' I slowly walked over and with a shaking hand I touched the strings. Grrrllinnggg! Few boring facts: ****************** No. of Frets - 20 Position Markers - Dot Position Inlays Bridge/Tailpiece - Sonokeling with Compensated Saddle Case - Hardshell Body Type - Fender Style Dreadnought Finish - Polyurethane Neck Wood - Nato Top Wood - Laminated Spruce Back Wood - Laminated Mahogany Side Wood - Laminated Mahogany Machine Heads - Chrome, (Die-Cast) Scale Length - 25.3" Fingerboard - Sonokeling ...and back to the tale... An assistant saw me and asked if I wanted to have a go. I did not need asking twice. He removed it from its place and I put it in my hands. The guitar felt so ...

Review of Fender Acoustic Spruce Top Dreadnought

Nashville tele a great little rocker

Advantages: Three pickups, five way switching, great Fender Classic
Disadvantages: Teles are quite heavy! No tremelo. not suitable for real heavy metal.

The Deluxe Nashville Telecaster is from the acclaimed Mexican division of the Fender empire. You should expect to pay about £400, although if you look around you might find a bargain! What makes this guitar so different from other Telecasters is the fact that it has a third pickup between the two others. This, combined with a five way switch (taken straight from a USA strat) gives you a huge variety of sounds, from twangy pop, to dark melodic blues. The pickups themselves are Tex-Mex (two tex-mex tele pickups, and one tex-mex strat pickup), which means that although made in Mexico, they have the same components as the American ones. The bridge pickup being very bright, getting bassier and bluesier as you switch towards the neck. All three pickups are adjustable, by screws, so that you can customize your sound by raising ...
