Fourth book in the Rainbow Magic series, fern the green fairy. Kirsty and Rachels collection of fairies is growing and as the numbers increase so so the number of problems they are encountering. This installment is no disappointment, the adventure continues as yet another delightful fairy is added to the characters list.
Cover: Argh, horrid paperback which soon creases and looks extremely tatty - making one wish I had invested in some sticky back plastic so I don't feel all grubby when I pick the manky things up and put them back in the bookshelf.

If they make all the right turns, could it lead them to Fern the Green Fairy? Hannah's favourite part is the fact that Kirsty and Rachel are humans, like hannah herself. Only they can by magic, turn into fairies and fly with the Rainbow fairies to help them get out of trouble and to fight the evil Jack frost. Hannah, believes she can do this, but she isn't old enough yet, she must wait for her prince on the flying horse to find her first. (how sweet, how also, not going to happen. but lets not start any tantrums ....)
The series of books tells the story of the Rainbow fairies. Each book concentrates on the background and adventure of one of the fairies. Ranging from the first book in the series, Ruby through to this book Heather the Violet fairy which is the last in the series. Loads of pictures in this book, keeping attention and inspires interest with imagination. Truley an enjoyable read for both the reader and the person who gets to watch the wows, gasps and awes as the story progresses.
Overall a four star rating, absolutely adored by my niece and if any little girl you know is as passionate and obsessive about fairies as she is then this is a must. The perfect birthday or christmas present and only let down by the fact that if you were going to do this you would have to either buy the vey first in this series or the whole lot as could be confusing as the background ismore detailed in the first few books.
