I bought a hamster a few months ago and i thought that choosing the hamster itself would be the hard part as i have heard many stories about hamster's biting or escaping. However when i got to the pet shop i realised that this was actually the easy part. The hardest part was having to decide which of the hundreds of different cages would best suit my hamster. I finally decided to buy the new Ferplast Flipper Hamster Cage.
The Flipper Hamster Cage is the new Ferplast idea for your loved pet hamster. It is suitable for all types of hamsters, including russian dwarf hamsters that like finding small escape routes from their cage.
This fantastic new cage allows your hamster to play, have fun and stay in shape in an all-in-one practical solution. It is quite a large size cage and it comes with a wheel, house, feeding bowl and drinker.

This may include extra rooms for toys, sleeping or feeding. You can also have attachable tubes, this is a very good feature as hamsters like exploring.
The size of this cage is 48 x 35 x 66cm. Therefore it isn't too big to have in any room but is big enough for your hamster to have a healthy happy life and to have enough room to run around and explore. There is also plenty of room for new toys.
In my opinion this cage is fantastic and i would recommend it to anyone. It is made of plastic and so it can be put anywhere in your house and you will not have to worry about draughts. overall i would give this cage a definate 10/10.
Advantages: Are there any? It connects to other tube-line cages. Disadvantages: No ventilation, very low "ceilings".

Ferplast normally make high-quality good sized cages but this appears to have been born of the hideous need companies have to make something fun for kids without the slightest consideration to the animal that has to live in it. There doesn't seem to be enough height for a Syrian hamster to stand on its back legs anywhere in the cage.
At around £55 this cage is a complete waste of money, there are many better cages on the ...
