I recently purchased the mini duna cage for my two mice (Alpha and Bravo).
This is an ideal cage for mice (and dwarf hamsters) as the plastic base and sides are escape proof and the wire door on the top has sufficiently small bar spaing to prevent mice from squeasing through, and/or cat paws squeasing in!
The plastic level provided is great for creating extra floor space and a sheltered sleeping area within the cage, but can also be removed with no affect on the stability of the cage.
The wheel, dish, house and brilliant 'sippy' water bottle (fills from the top - genious!) provided are of a high standard and very duarble.
Although named the 'mini duna' the cage is still relativly large 55cm x 39cm x 27cm, so get the tape measure out before you buy and make sure you have room. Remember cages are never too big for the animals, just for the people who live around them!
The mini duna will easily house a small group of mice or a pair of dwarfs.
There are only a few minor negatives that I shoud mention. Firstly the wire door on the lid does tend to be quite tough to open and close, especially when new, though it does ensure the cat-proof-ness, and gets easier with age. Secondly being an enclosed cage it can't be left anywhere in the direct sunlight as it will tend to heat up rapidly, it does however prevent any chilling drafts from reaching your pet. Lastly - a little more pricy than similar cage (Savic Rody, Bernie deluxe) but I definately say it's worth the extra fiver.
Overall a great product from Ferplast, highly recommended for mice, dwarf hamsters
