Ferrari WIN Championship title in Malaysia

Advantages: fine racing car, good build, good performance, grip, handling
Disadvantages: not many, may not have as much straight line speed as Mclarens..yet

01.01.2001 update This opinion was written immediately after Ferrari won the Championship in October 2000, and relates to the events and feelings that unfolded in Sepang during the winning moments. ---------------------------------------------------- Already a Triple World Champion after winning at Japan 2 weeks ago, Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello finished 1st and 3rd at Malaysia today. This ensured that Ferrari won the constructors Championship well ahead of Mclaren. The Mclaren’s got of too a good start but due to Mika’s stop/go penalty, Mika was not able to finish on the podium despite fighting his way through the field and came 4th. The fall and rise of Ferrari.

Advantages: Plenty of cash.
Disadvantages: None.

Ferrari have the longest tradition in the sport of Formula One Motor Racing, being founded by Enzo Ferrari and having competed in every Grand Prix since 1950, when the official world championship started. Nigel Mansell helped to turn things around in 1991, winning several races for them, and the title would have been won if it were a more reliable car. Now that Schumacher is on board, and Ferrari have finally overcome this reliability problem the title is there for the taking. Barrichello is a good number two driver for the team and Jean Todt has a good brain when it comes to race strategy. Having contested 655 Grands Prix they are the most succesful team in ...

Well thought out racing game for DS - Ferrari Challenge

Advantages: Lots of gameplay, easy to just pick up and play
Disadvantages: Gets a bit repetitive eventually

Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli is a racing game for the Nintendo DS. There are similar titles released for other consoles such as the Playstation 3, but this is a separately written game and has lots of good things about it. In terms of the game play, getting into the game is quite easy as the controls are easy to master. There is also a long and comprehensive tutorial section of the game so that you can get used to the car handling. Both text appears on the screen and there are audio clips to help you learn what the best racing line is and how to approach some of the corners. When playing you can get extra points for keeping the right driving line, taking corners effectively and also for smooth overtaking. To master the game takes longer, as you will have to become very experienced with each track and really have to race each track ...
