First response for me has to be the most reliable pregnancy test on the market. Not only is it reasonably priced this test can be used up to 4 days before your period is due. I used this test 3 days before my period was due and it was at night and i got a clear positive result. I find this test reliable, good value for money and quick and simple to use. Disadvantages: Can't be used if you your cycles are irregular or if you have irregular sleeping patterns(shift work)

First Response Ovulation Kit

Advantages: Ease of use, quick result (1-2 mins)
Disadvantages: Difficult to read

I got very frustrated as I wasn't ovulating (this was proved by blood tests at my GP's) but still got a faint blue line in the second window and it was quite hard to tell whether this line was classed as "similar" to the other one or not. Advantages: Easy to use with the colour indicator stick

...must say after trying the clearblue pregnancy test last night I am sooooo confused. first of all the negative lined appeared on the test which left me and my Fiance disappointed to say the least as we have been trying for a child for almost 4 months now. The line in the window hadn't appeared in the indicator box though so we waitied a little longer. At last the line appeared and the test said negative, however when i looked again a few seconds later ...
