I've tried loads of different pregnacy tests, and always found that the ones with the blue lines where always unclear. I could never determine if the blue colour strip had spread or it was showing a very faint second line. Too which I always found myself scouring the instruction leaflet for any help. The instructions where very understandable, and it had quick read pictures on the back of the box for those in too much of a rush to go through the leaflets inside. Advantages: Can be used 4 days before period is due, easy to read.
Disadvantages: Can be hard to open outside wrap.

Advantages: Easy to use with the colour indicator stick
Disadvantages: Expensive, Confusing

...must say after trying the clearblue pregnancy test last night I am sooooo confused. first of all the negative lined appeared on the test which left me and my Fiance disappointed to say the least as we have been trying for a child for almost 4 months now. The line in the window hadn't appeared in the indicator box though so we waitied a little longer. At last the line appeared and the test said negative, however when i looked again a few seconds later ...

Boots pregnancy test - very quick & accurate

Advantages: Easy to use, accurate, cheap
Disadvantages: None

...just not this soon! The boots pregnancy test gave me an accurate result in just a few seconds. I actually took a second one just to be on the safe side. It too was positive, it couldn't be wrong! A scan 5 weeks later confirmed this. Also for some women that want to use the pregnancy test in their pregnancy scrapbook/diary the result doesn't fade!
